I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about this pub!!! I traveled to Lucerne to meet a friend from the states for her birthday trip, but due to flight issues she arrived a day later than me. I am from the states as well but live in Ireland and so if I'm having travel issues or I'm alone I will always try to find an Irish pub, as they are almost always welcoming and homey. This pub was absolutely no exception. From the minute I walked through the door I absolutely loved it. It is an AUTHENTIC Irish pub and not one of those cheesy, commercialized ones you find in so many countries. The staff is amazing, the Guinness is good, and the locals and tourists alike are all friendly and relaxed. It is a quiet, unassuming pub a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of town, and I loved it so much that I went there both nights I was in Lucerne. The second night they had a trad band that was fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough and hope to be back someday! Thank you Shamrock!
