After a breathtaking trip to Gornergrat and witnessing the majesty of the Matterhorn, our family of three was famished and looking for a satisfying lunch in Zermatt. We stumbled upon this gem of an authentic Turkish restaurant right next to the charming Marmot fountain, and it was the perfect find!
While it's a small place with limited seating, the atmosphere was bustling and inviting. We ordered döner rolls and burger meals, and were absolutely blown away by the portion sizes! These meals were truly humongous, easily satisfying our post-hiking hunger. In fact, one meal could easily be shared between two people.
Yes, it's true that the prices might be a tad higher than your average burger joint, but given the prime location in Zermatt and the generous portions, it was well worth it. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the taste was truly authentic.

The fries were so bland in fact that the vegetables had a stronger taste than the fries, not...

The döner kebab stick was fried, heated with 60C°
