We’ve been there on three separate occasions this year. Twice to eat and drink and once for a several night stay. The hotel is lovely and the spa very nice. The service is quite good, but on the last occasion I found they weren’t very attentive and they didn’t even have available basic liquors for making simple cocktails like, for example; a Negroni. In general I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if the price is in a decent range, but it isn’t as exceptional as it could be. With some warmth and training for their people this could be one of the absolute top hotels of Switzerland.

Honnêtement, j’ai été déçu de mon séjour. Comme nous sommes en période de COVID, et que le personnel a certainement été diminué, je suis donc indulgent ;) Mais je ne trouvais pas le rapport qualité/prix de cet hôtel intéressant. Voici quelques points motivant mon évaluation.

Positif: Un chauffeur sympathique qui est venu nous chercher à la gare en shuttle électrique Un magnifique bâtiment historique bien entretenu Une propreté excellente Un accueil chaleureux

Négatif: Un restaurant ayant un choix limité Un buffet petit-déjeuner d’une qualité discutable (petit-pains qui s’émiettent comme si ils avaient été congelés, fromages pas de la région, etc.) Dans les autres 5 étoiles, l’habitude est que le directeur vienne saluer les clients Le service était basique (attente, vin pas versé, desservi du mauvais...

Good location - therfore the one star. Staff on the reception rude as a in hostel. Almost no pickup with 1 year child on arrival. Hopefully other services and staff will improve, 'cause it's...
