I've dined at my fair share of Michelin restaurants around the world, and I'm bewildered as to how Le Gitan Grill managed to secure its 1 Michelin star.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the host who took our jackets and allowed us to choose our seats. The initial impression was promising.
However, things took a nosedive when the older male waiter seemed annoyed when we declined still or sparkling water, opting for wine instead. From there, it was a series of disappointments.

The burrata appetizer was uniquely prepared and incredibly flavorful.
Service by Gonçalo was excellent; he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. The mountain weather was refreshing and pleasant, allowing us to sit outside. As the evening grew late and cooler, Gonçalo thoughtfully provided a blanket to keep us warm, adding a cozy touch to our meal.
