Went here for breakfast with my family, i ordered the simple breakfast, and an iced latte, while my family ordered, a lemonade, the yogurt,an egg omelette , a hot chocolate, and a tartine, the simple breakfast consisted of 2 beautifully baked bread, a crispy and soft croissant, 2 small breads, a small cup of fresh honey, a small cup of real strawberry jam, and a cup of cold butter(8.6/10), the iced latte albeit nothing special came with a nice crispy biscuit that helped compliment it(6.8/10), i tried some of the fresh tartine made with fruits bread and a very overpowering goat cheese, it matched well with the sweet fruits, personally i enjoyed it however my family did not(7.5/10), i had a sample of the hot chocolate which was smooth and chocolatey(7.1/10), and lastly i sampled the lemonade that was very very overpowering which while fresh was too sour for my liking(6.7/10). Honestly a great breakfast place to go for in Switzerland.
The service was quite good with attentive staff.
The atmosphere was very homey and friendly with a calming ambiance that represented a beautiful café in Europe.
TLDR: Very good and exceptional food that were unique yet simple, decently good and friendly staff, and a nice homey ambiance, would recommend to tourists.

Today morning my girlfriend and me decided to have a nice coffee at a nice place. And to be honest: Franzos is a nice place with nice coffee.
At this moment there were only four guests in total and it took 15min until we got our flat white and a cappuccino. Funny enough we could see the barista how he finished the cappuccino first and let it wait (and cool down) at the bar for at least another five minutes until the flat white joined the party. And it's never nice to look at a cappuccino which foam already started to collapse.
The additional pain aux chocolat and croissant were nice too. But in the end i was shocked by billed 21.50. Even for me living in Zurich.
My feedback would have been much better if we wouldn't have to wait 15 min in a not crowded bistro and If i didn't have to stare at my cooling down cappuccino waiting at the bar. So barista: Speed up. Check out the guys at vicafe for example. They are so fast on their machines. That would give you an advantage and more happy customers.
But like I said. Nice place. Good coffee. But if you are in a hurry in the morning maybe not a...
