N-68 — Restaurant in Zurich

They operate on a reservation-only basis, which initially had me a bit concerned since I didn't have one. However, to my surprise, the staff were very polite and accommodating. Even though I didn’t have a reservation, they still took the time to attend to me promptly and ensured I had a comfortable spot. It was a nice touch that they didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience.

As for the food, it was decent but nothing extraordinary. While it wasn’t bad by any means, I didn’t feel like it stood out in any major way. The flavors were fine, but I was hoping for a more memorable experience considering the reputation. It was certainly satisfying, just not exceptional.

One thing I really enjoyed, though, was the atmosphere. The space had a cozy and inviting vibe, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. At first i was a bit sceptical about this restaurant, because it looked quite busy and was located pretty central in the city.

But i was more than surprised after i got to eat the best burger in the entire city, for a really fair price!

I ordered the normal Beef Burger, but added cheddar cheese and an additional patty. On the side I ordered really delicious sweet potato fries, which added a great flavour tonthe entire meal.

I had ordered a 50cl Guinness, but got served a 40cl Feldschlösschen, which was kind of disappointing, but i think it complimented the taste of the food better than Guinness would've done.

In total I ordered: Beef Burger (+ Cheddar & Extra Patty) Sweet Potato Fries 2x 40cl Feldschlösschen

Es war wirklich SCHRECKLICH. Wir sind eine wirklich freundliche, kulante und geduldige Gruppe. Die Bestellung wurde nach 25 Minuten ENDLICH aufgenommen, nachdem nur der HALBE TISCH gewischt und nur HALBES BESTECK getauscht wurde. offensichtlich, saßen an unserem 4 Personen-Tisch, vorher nur 2 Personen, daher werden auch nur 2 Plätze gewischt (man könnte ja auf das Nachbarbesteck niemals nie niesen oder anderweitig anfassen! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Das Essen war nach 40 Minuten noch nicht da und die kaum deutsch verstehende Servicekraft meidete sämtlichen Augenkontakt. Als wir nach 45 Minuten sagten, dass wir langsam keine Geduld mehr haben, wurden uns weitere 5 Minuten Wartezeit zugesichert. Nach 50 Minuten standen wir auf, zahlten die Getränke und gingen. Das Essen wäre Ja „gleich“ fertig. Als ich an der Kasse zahlte, kam mein Schnitzel/Pommes-Teller raus, die anderen 3 Teller fehlten. wir hätten somit getrennt und alleine gegessen. Für mich unvorstellbar als Kunde. Wir zahlten 30,50 CHF und verloren fast eine Stunde in einem Restaurant, welches sich weder kundenorientiert verhält, noch sich entschuldigt, für die Umstände und SCHLECHTE LEISTUNG! Das Restaurant ist NICHT zu empfehlen. Dann lieber Mc.Donald‘s.

It was really TERRIBLE. We are a really friendly, accommodating and patient group. The order was FINALLY taken after 25 minutes after only HALF TABLE was wiped and HALF CUTLERY was exchanged. obviously, sat at our 4-person table, previously only 2 people, so only 2 seats are wiped (you could never sneeze on the neighboring cutlery or touch it in any other way! 🤦🏻‍♂️

The food wasn't there after 40 minutes and the waiter, who hardly understood German, avoided all eye contact. When we said after 45 minutes that we were running out of patience, we were promised another 5 minutes of waiting time. After 50 minutes we got up, paid for the drinks and left. The food would have been yes " right away". When I paid at the cash register, my schnitzel/chips plate came out, the other 3 plates were missing. We would have eaten separately and alone. Inconceivable for me as a customer. We paid CHF 30.50 and almost lost one Hour in a restaurant that is neither customer-oriented nor apologizes for the circumstances and POOR PERFORMANCE!The restaurant is NOT recommended.In that case...
