This restaurant has a nice decorated little garden. It’s not busy at all. It’s a bit chaotic : I got first the menu card. Later I asked where the menu for the drinks. And then I asked again a bottle still water. I ordered a mocktail. I has to wait for it. What you have to do for your customers? 1. Bring them to the table with a big smile 2. Ask them what they would like to drink : still or bubbly water 3. Give them the drink menu 4. Give them the menu 5. Service them for what the want: first in, first out. 6. The most important: stay in the same level; your customer are sitting and you can not ask them while you are standing, you have to sit. The foods are not delicious, especially the main course: everything grilled. No tasting sensation. The amuse was okĂ©. The salade, it’s look that the green vegetable are not so fresh, the leaf are not crispy. Sorry for this review.

The restaurant is centrally located near the main railway station. The ambience is cosy, but there were only a few customers that night, which I put down to the fact that the restaurant is not yet well known. The waitress was always friendly and kindly offered us a limoncello at the end to help us digest. The food was good, but for me each course lacked that certain something. You could tell that the team was not yet well-rehearsed, as there were some misunderstandings about who was bringing the next course. The insight into the kitchen makes the whole thing a bit more exciting, but also gives an insight into the interaction of the kitchen team, which in turn confirms that the kitchen team is not yet working perfectly. Perhaps things will be different in a few months' time, when some time has passed and the whole team has had time to practice working together.

The ultimate place for those who prefer vegan or gluten-free food. Half of the menu is vegan, and almost all dishes are gluten-free (there is only one exception!). We are ok with gluten and not vegans, but it was very interesting to try this cousin. The food was very tasty, and the presentation of the dishes was simply art. We weren't particularly impressed with the rhubarb dessert, but maybe we just didn’t get the concept :). A special feature is that their grill runs on wood, which gives the grilled foods a pleasant smell of wood smoke. We felt this particularly with cauliflower. The service was very pleasant and friendly and entire atmosphere was just great. Strongly recommend to visit here.

Very disappointing experience. The place looks nice and seemed busy, so we went in without reservation at lunchtime. The Brisket my son ordered came in looking amazing but turns out it is frozen in the middle. The dish gets sent out with a sad face from the waiter and after 10 minutes it comes back - the same piece - now totally grey and my son first does not want to make a fuss (after all the pommes allumettes are nice and plentiful). But he really is not able to chew it. The waiter comes back and rambles about that all animals are different (?!) and then asks what my son wants. (Well he actually wanted the Brisket he ordered done in a proper way!) Anyway, the waiter interrupts, never mind "I will decide" and goes back in to the open kitchen. Another 10 minutes passes and then he comes back with veal sausages. Nothing wrong, but not at all what my son wanted and he ends up eating not even 10% of it. No excuses, instead the waiter insults him by saying something about that McDonalds might suit better. Really uncalled for and just plain rude. My son is 20 and eats everything, goes to restaurants at least weekly and is very polite. To top it off the bill comes in with the Brisket on it, still no excuse and no discount offered. Of course I ask for them to remove the Brisket since it was uneatable, and they do. All in all, just became a very unpleasant lunch instead of the rare tete-a-tete I had looked forward to having with my son. And my son...

Enja is a fantastic restaurant located in the heart of Zurich. The location is perfect for those looking to enjoy a meal while taking in the sights and sounds of the city center. The decoration of the restaurant is modern and elegant, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service is top-notch, with staff being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.

The variety of dishes offered at Enja is impressive, with something for everyone to enjoy. The quality of the food is outstanding, with each dish being expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality, and the flavors are well-balanced and delicious.

The fair value for the price is another highlight of Enja. The restaurant offers a great selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The menu offers a good balance between more affordable options and more luxurious choices. Overall, Enja is a fantastic restaurant and well worth a visit. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special occasion, Enja is sure to impress.

In summary, Enja is a fantastic restaurant that offers a great location, elegant decoration, top-notch service, a variety of delicious dishes, high-quality food, and fair value for price. It is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a great dining...

We visited Enja to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and, unfortunately, left feeling deeply disappointed. The restaurant was nearly empty, which initially gave us hope for attentive service — but the experience quickly went downhill.

The menu featured an overwhelming amount of asparagus in nearly every dish, which felt limiting and unbalanced. We ended up sending several items back, either due to taste or execution. While the staff made attempts to remedy the situation, their efforts only seemed to complicate matters further. The service overall was confused and inconsistent, though I want to note that our main waitress was genuinely kind and appeared to care about our experience — one of the few positives of the evening.

It’s especially disheartening that this was meant to be a special occasion. We left the restaurant still hungry, with one family member suffering from an upset stomach, and ultimately went out to eat elsewhere.

A very disappointing and costly evening. Unfortunately, we won’t...
