Ginspiration — Restaurant in Datong District

I heard about this place from a friend in Taipei, and I’m so glad I went! It’s my new favorite place in the city (as a foreigner). I went by myself on a Friday night, and even though the bar was full, they still sat me on the second floor. The staff knows various levels of English, but it’s easy with google translate. I had THE BEST GIMLET of my life! When a space opened up, they had me sit upstairs. It’s not a big space, just 5 seats at the bar plus a table. Everyone is so friendly and it’s super fun to watch them make drinks. They have a super impressive selection of gins from around the world. I ordered another drink that was incredible. They also offered tastings of differently things. The service is the best. I wanted to try every drink on their menu! This was definitely a highlight...

There are so many variety of Gin you can try at here. The staffs here are very professional to introduce every single details of Gin to you. They also recommend the combination of Gin with type of food offered for dining. Other than Gin, the bar also offers many type of cocktails with gin base. So you can choose accordingly to you favourite. The food here also taste very good. They offer proper dining meal also fingers foods that perfect matches Gin. The combo meal is also offer with good price. The environment and decoration is very good. Suitable for chit-chatting with friends with good music . They also provided nice private area at the top floor for your convenience. Price is quite reasonable and get ready your Asia miles to earn...

The place - There are so many coffee shops in this area, and we were explicitly seeking not only a place with nice coffee and shop but also a quiet, relaxed one. This one fulfilled them all. Look very small from shop front, but they have a huge second floor (shown in our picture…). We were specially lucky to have the window seats on the ground floor, felt like they were calling us to come in, it was a very peaceful experience watching people busy walking outside.
