Lan Di Pasta House — Restaurant in Taipei

This is the place for those who are just hungry enough that a small bowl of rice won't satisty your hunger. Quite certainly that their pasta portion is sizeable enough to stuff your stomach for the rest of your evening..for 120$+- it justified everything that you would get from them (waiting staff service, additional stuff like bottomless drink, the ambience etc).

The thing about the flavour is that you've to completely remove the idea that all pasta should be the like of Italian's pasta because that's not what exactly you'll get there i.e not like Jamie's or of any real Italian dining etc.

The sauces were not really that bad if you could think of it as a different style or localized pasta. I personally like...

I unexpectedly, really really enjoyed the creamy pesto pasta with chicken and broccoli here! Yes, Taiwanese style pasta means milder and a thinner soupier sauce- but honestly still very herby, flavorful and delicious! Unlimited black lightly sweetened tea as well! Ask for extra sauce;) you can substitute spaghetti for rice or penne noodles! For 120 it's a good portion size but not huge. Overall a very decent filling choice, and comes out super hot and fast after ordering!

Food is good, though some menu items lack taste.

Only complain is the atmosphere felt extremely toxic. Staff just bickering with each other due to order mistake. Us customers could litterally hear them like a podcast, even pulling customers in to the bickering. Sure, a mistake is a mistake, but try to keep it under control as soon a possible.
