Shop location is right around the corner from the bustle of Guanghua Electronics Market 光華商場, so it gets quite busy around lunch to early afternoon.

You order at the machine outside the store, and it takes cash only. It can be a bit confusing, as the machine UX is pretty awful, but sometimes there’s an employee to help you through it. Then take your printed ticket, go inside and find a seat, and place your ticket up on the ledge in front of you. There are 16-18 individual seats inside, each barriered off from others like tight cubicles, and your seat will have utensils, spices, and access to water. Napkin dispensers are on the wall.

I ordered their everything-in-it combo chicken ramen, and it came with 4 slices of tender sous vide chicken breast, a whole ajitama egg (not halved), two roulade slices of meat, 3 chicken dumplings, and 3 sheets of nori seaweed. The soup broth is thick, full of rich umami, and lip-smackingly gelatinous. Definitely pour yourself some water, and you’ll need a drink later when the MSG hits you. Noodles were great, perfect chew (and they give you a choice of “hardness”). The noodle and soup are on the small side, but I was quite full by the end. You can request more noodles if needed.

We were having ramen & the waiter cut us off halfway through our conversation after 10mins and reminded us that the noodles will get too soft if we don't finish it quickly. Then after another 10minutes, the chef tried to take my bowl away and asked me "你還要吃嗎？” (are you still eating)

We were shocked at their rudeness & asked if there's a time limit. They responded no, but there's people outside waiting. My friend felt very uncomfortable with the chef staring at us two girls. It wasn't even 25minutes after the noodles came out when they tried kicking us out. We left very quickly soon after, arrived at 7:30pm and left by 8pm.

Positive: Clean environment with available toilets. The soup is thick and light, complemented by soft and pleasant noodles. A variety of herbs and spices are provided on the table. The option for a free noodle or meat add-on is available. The restaurant is reasonably priced and conveniently located near the metro.

Negative: Unpleasant rag smell emanating from the table. Limited availability of coke and other commercial drinks. The meat appears to be somewhat tasteless.
