Okura Continental Room Buffet Restaurant is probably the most popular restaurant of the Okura Prestige Taipei Hotel for its food choices and services for the breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.
In addition to the French and other European buffet dishes, it also has popular Japanese food dishes which are centered on Sushi and Sashimi. At the same time, it also provides a few Taiwanese traditional dishes and Hong Kong-style dim sum dishes.
For the vegetarians, the Restaurant always provides various vegetarian dishes in steam, in stewed, in wok, and in drink [such as soy bean drink or oatmeal].
For seafood lovers, it always provides seasonal shrimps, crabs, fishes, shell fishes, clams, mussels, squids, and other choices.
For the meat lovers, it generally provides beef, pork, lamb, ham of various forms, and chefs on site can cook some dishes based on customers' quests on site.
The Restaurant does provide all-you-can-drink red wine, white wine, Johnny Walker Whiskey and few other liquors for the customers.
While the Restaurant will NOT limit customers for the quantity of the food taken, sometimes, few customers may take too many food items, in one time, on few plates, and such a behavior may affect the customers to feel the taste or flavor the food. For example, it is surprised to see few customers to take raw and fresh sashimi with other food items in three plates and leave sashimi on customers' dining table for more than 10 minutes and then to eat their sashimi after they finish other...

Beautiful modern wooden interiors, set inside the Okura Prestige hotel.
They have karage (fried chicken) and waffles so you can totally have fried chicken and waffles here!
Their fresh juices are bomb, especially their pitahaya juice- vibrant pink in color and pairs freshly with your meal.
Dessert includes at least 6 different Hangen-Dasz ice cream flavors, all self serve. The purple/strawberry one is fire!
They have beer but only for dinner time, Asahi beer on tap!

此次用餐為平日午餐,適逢「大倉久和大飯店」日本海鮮祭的活動,「歐風館」多了松葉蟹腳以及使用北海道干貝製作的炙燒干貝握壽司和鐵板煎干貝,再加上使用Gomaji餐券,一個人花費不到一千元的價格,感覺更加超值,更加美味🤣🤣🤣。
以下分享純為個人當日用餐感受,想到啥說啥,僅供參考。
1.海鮮、生魚片、壽司區 這區應該是各吃到飽餐廳的兵家必爭之地,但「歐風館」卻只是正常發揮而已。別忘了它日式飯店的背景,它的日常表現就已經勝過台灣許多的Buffeet了。
“松葉蟹腳”, 配合活動推出,尺吋不算大,肉質還算緊實,也吃得到蟹肉的甜味,建議拿取帶蟹螯的部位,吃得比較過癮。餐廳也提供蟹鉗、剪刀等器具,雖沒有“島語”提供的工具趁手,也算堪用,不至讓人手足無措。
“各式生魚片” ,生魚片種類不多,有擺放在餐檯上任取的“旗魚”、“鮪魚”、“鮭魚”、“紅魽”四種魚生以及要另外跟師傅“注文”,一次一份兩尾的天使紅蝦。雖然種類不多,但是日式飯店的功底是不會騙人的,每片生魚片的厚薄一致、刀工俐落、魚生油脂豐富、入口溫度適中,還有“天使紅蝦”肉質鮮甜有彈性不軟爛,這些種種的細節僅僅只是「歐風館」的日常演出罷了。
“炙燒干貝握壽司” ,握壽司區裡的“炙燒干貝握壽司”就放在最搶眼的位置,讓人不注意到都很難,雖然不是現點現做,但是依靠其受歡迎的程度,也幾乎讓壽司師傅手忙腳亂一番了。醋飯是好吃濕潤的,缺點是醋飯的份量偏多,也因為不是現點現做,無法客製化,口感上會差了點,不過北海道干貝的口感還是值得稱讚的。
“酪梨鮮蝦手卷”,這是本區最讓老吉感到意外的存在,也能反應飯店出在小細節上也不馬虎的地方。現點現做無需贅述,海苔乾燥脆爽也是正常,驚艷之處在於內餡使用的酪梨,其口感濃密絲滑,讓一口咬下的手卷,彷彿有著濃郁脂肪般,瞬時讓手卷的風味提升了一個層次。
2.炸物 鐵板煎台 湯品 蒸籠區 首先得大力讚賞「歐風館」對於菜品在呈現時,對“溫度”掌控的重視。無形之中也讓每道菜餚有著更多層次的展現和更出彩的發揮。
像是,“現沖牛肉湯”滾燙是正常表現,但是,就連隔水加熱的“土瓶蒸”、“燒賣”和“豉汁排骨”也是熱到燙嘴的溫度,就讓人感到開心了。
又或者,天麩羅區的“炸蝦”,一次少量供應,保證炸蝦內裡的蝦子在食客食用時能維持在剛斷生不久的熟度;“鐵板煎干貝”一人限取兩個,餐檯上一次約莫只上十多個,保障取餐拿到的干貝都是現煎,仔細觀察,再再都能發現飯店細心之處。
3.熱食區 老吉認為「歐風館」的菁華非此區莫屬!
三連發的經典焗、燉菜獨步台灣Buffeet圈,充滿果香與酒香的“紅酒燉牛舌”、香草芬芳香氣十足的“法式焗田螺”、以及醬汁濃郁的“俄羅斯酸奶燉牛肉”這三款費時費工的高檔日式洋食,在日本一份動輒數千円的料理,這裡可以一碗一碗的隨意品嚐,實在讓人開心。這幾道料理也是很難在台灣其他飯店被複製貼上的逸品。
仿日本奶油燉菜的“酥皮奶香海鮮”,滿滿的海鮮、奶香足的白醬和又香又酥的酥皮結合,我就問怎會不好吃?
又或是考驗師傅耐心的“焗烤肉醬千層麵”,因為做工費時,只上了一盤,被拿光後就沒有再出現了,要吃趁早。
還是燉到脫骨軟嫩的“勃根地風味牛肋骨”,帶骨的牛肋條肉口感酥爛鹹香,手握著牛肋骨,嘴巴輕輕一撇就簡單骨肉分離,大口吃肉的快感,只嚐一塊肯定不夠。
4.主菜區 三大主菜“燒烤肋眼牛排”、“爐烤大目鰱”、“羅馬風味脆皮燒肉”,絕對是視覺與味覺上的雙重饗宴。
“燒烤肋眼牛排”,光看牛肉剖面的色澤就知道肯定美味多汁,只要簡單沾點鹽巴和黑胡椒,就能品嚐到牛肉的原味。就連配菜的馬鈴薯泥綿密、奶油玉米香甜、爐烤甜椒香氣四溢,相當完整的組合。
“爐烤大目鰱”,誠意滿滿的特選三公斤以上大目鰱,爐烤火候適中,肉質鮮嫩,也很受歡迎。
“羅馬風味脆皮燒肉”,皮脆肉鹹香,三層肉的夾層油脂肥美,搭配蜂蜜芥末醬更是解膩的良方。
5.生菜沙拉區 完整一大片的“燻鮭魚”,卷成了花朵形狀,攤開後幾乎是別家吃到飽餐廳5-6片的份量。 “地瓜蘋果優格沙拉”使用了色彩鮮豔的紫地瓜,和蘋果塊的組合,一個軟、一個脆,口感不同,甜味也不同,很討喜。
6.甜點區 甜點區有分成餐廳內冷藏櫃區和不容易注意到的餐廳門外常溫餐檯區。
“黑森林”,整粒的酒釀黑櫻桃與鮮奶油加上巧克力蛋糕,層層堆疊在透明的玻璃杯裡,記得在甜點櫃看到要儘快跟師傅索取。
“生乳捲”,一樓烘焙坊唯一有販售的商品,一片售價120元,不吃可惜。
“柚子抹茶棒棒糖”,外層的抹茶巧克力包裹著豆沙口感的柚子口味內餡,標準的和式組合,帶有苦味和酸味以及果香,更能襯托出甜點的風雅滋味,榮登今日最驚豔👍
“蓮蓉栗子鹹蛋黃蛋糕”,偏乾口感的蛋糕一向不是老吉的菜,純粹是被標題名稱所吸引,沒想到吃進嘴裡,產生了一個既熟悉又陌生的感覺。再細細品味一下豁然發現,原來是很像少油的蓮蓉雙黃廣式月餅的滋味,妙哉!
