Haaya's Coffee (Sanchuang) — Restaurant in Zhongzheng District

I still don’t understand how this place can be so expensive while being located in Syntrend 三創生活園區. They had run out of the matcha roll cake, which we originally came in to order, so we ended up ordering the only ones that were available. Then, we were told we had to order at least one drink per person, and the drinks we wanted to order were also sold out for the day. 😅 In the end, we ordered 2 sets of tea + roll cake for a total of NTD 814 (€25!!!!), including a 10% service fee for this awfully slow and unfriendly service!!! 😱 The prices on the menu were misleading too. (If I had known about this, I would have gone to 鼎泰豐 instead 😭😂) The overall quality of the food and beverages was pretty good, although the cake was a little too bland for my taste. Not coming back in this...

They take their coffee seriously. They did not use ice cubes to dilute my light roast coffee which is great. Their house coffee gives you a slap in your face and wakes you up, which is again awesome.

The cafe is not in an enclosed space but right smack in the middle of the floor surrounded by booths / boutiques / brands.

The seats are pretty comfortable and coffee is priced slightly towards the expensive side. Regardless, I had a great time and good experience. Impeccable service from the staff!...

Ridiculous service. Bought 2 coffees for 473NT. There are 4 of us sitting inside after paying, then the waitress told us that only 2 people can sit down. She asked the 2 of us to leave. The place isn't even crowded a lot of empty spaces. I think the short-haired waitress and cashier really needs to go under some serious hospitality training, or at least say it upfront not after people paid....
