This place is your typical dim sum type restaurant you find in the states. Big round tables for huge families and smaller ones for smaller groups. It’s on the 3rd floor of the building and they do take reservations if you’re able to call ahead of time. If not, walk in is fine as well as long as you come early like right when they open at 11 am.
We got a variety of dishes to share between a group of 4.
This golden toasted bread with condensed milk, some pork dish, black pepper beef, a pork belly cucumber wrap, Mapo tofu, clam soup, and fish.
I think my least favorite was the fish since I didn’t particularly like the sweet sauce that was used on the fried fish. Next was the Mapo tofu that didn’t reach my expectation. The overall flavor itself just tastes different from what I typically have in the states so it was just surprising but it was still pretty good. The soup was very light and helps wash down the flavors of the other dishes.

Prices are a little high for Taipei average food costs with each dish running 250~300+ per. Would recommend if you are...

My local friends like it so I have been here multiple times. It is very pricey, approaching US prices.
I like 豆瓣魚、乾扁四季豆。I don’t like 五更腸旺。The picture should...
