ZENJI GARDEN CAFE — Restaurant in Shangani

This place is great!! It's by the water near the farodhani garden & floating cafe. Sunsets near here are lovely too. Their staff are friendly & welcoming, They shoo the cats away so that we can sit without being pestered by them. Inititally we only ordered drinks & ice-cream. Their iced-coffee was amazing! We saw them serving other customers food & it looked so good that we ordered as well. The food was great however they took absolutely AGES! Tip: I would not advise it if you have a plane or ferry to catch!! We waited almost an hour & were planning to wait 15 more minutes then leave. Thankfully the food came on time, we enjoyed the delicious meal & had enough time to get to the ferry. The ferry port is around a 5min walk...

‘Terrible’ is the only word I can use to describe this place.

I visited with a group of friends and stopped here because of the relatively cheap prices. Oh how wrong we were…

The food took over an hour to arrive (despite hardly any other customers), the order came incorrect and missing ingredients (which they didn’t tell us about whilst ordering) and was bland and cold when it did.

They then refused to give change as we were paying in dollars.

Times may be tough but scamming customers shouldn’t be the solution.

We will never be visiting again and can’t stress enough that paying $5 more at many of the surrounding restaurants will provide much more value to you than the Zenji...

I hate this place I hate all the workers who work here I came with my friends they ordered from the coffee shop because I didn't order from them they literally rudely told me to go seat where I buy the food it was really bad experience I don't recomend anyone to come here not because of the stuff but because of the poor customer service
