Khun Daeng has phenomenal Vietnamese pork noodle soup! I took a look at the menu and thought that I was supposed to order 1 or 2 of the assorted pork types. The waitress is like, "No, you get some of each in every bowl." I was intrigued. Then the bowl arrived and the aroma was ambrosia! I took a spoonful and the taste was even better than the aroma! They even through in a quail egg to really challenge my chopsticks skills. Yeah, it sounds easy, but you go and try to eat a slippery quail egg by picking it up with chopsticks... It was delicious, and the staff were very friendly even though they were crazy busy. It might seem a little intimidating and foreign if you are new to the city. Plan ahead and decide what you want as they are fat and efficient. The condiments are in the little 4 pack containers on the tables. It is customary to add dried chilli, pickles chilli, sugar and sish sauce. Beware the chillies are HOT, but you get used to it and it's a vital part of the dish.
