Khun Daeng's Vietnamese Noodle is a well-established spot in Bangkok, famous for its authentic and flavorful Vietnamese-style noodle soups and dishes. This charming restaurant has earned a reputation for serving up fresh, hearty, and delicious Vietnamese cuisine, making it a must-visit for noodle lovers and those looking for a taste of Vietnam in Thailand.

Menu and Offerings: The star of the menu is the Vietnamese noodle soup, or Pho, which is prepared with a rich and aromatic broth, slow-cooked to perfection. The soup is typically served with your choice of beef or chicken, accompanied by fresh herbs, lime, and bean sprouts on the side. The balance of flavors between the savory broth, tender noodles, and vibrant herbs makes it a refreshing and satisfying meal.

Aside from Pho, the restaurant also offers a variety of other Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls, both fresh and fried, packed with herbs, shrimp, and pork, and served with a delicious dipping sauce. For those looking for something heartier, the Vietnamese pancake (Bánh xèo), a crispy savory crepe filled with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts, is a popular choice. Bun Cha, a grilled pork dish served with vermicelli noodles and fresh herbs, is another standout option.

Atmosphere and Service: The atmosphere at Khun Daeng’s is casual and welcoming, with simple décor that focuses more on the food than frills. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, allowing diners to enjoy their meal in a relaxed, comfortable environment. The staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that your experience is smooth and enjoyable from the moment you arrive.

Value for Money: One of the great things about Khun Daeng's Vietnamese Noodle is that it offers excellent value for money. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of ingredients is high, with everything tasting fresh and well-prepared. Whether you're grabbing a quick bowl of Pho or sitting down for a full Vietnamese feast, the prices remain very reasonable, making it a great option for casual dining without stretching the budget.

Overall Impression: Khun Daeng's Vietnamese Noodle delivers an authentic and delicious taste of Vietnam right in the heart of Bangkok. With its flavorful noodle soups, fresh spring rolls, and hearty dishes like Bun Cha, this restaurant offers a true Vietnamese culinary experience. Whether you're a fan of Pho or looking to explore more Vietnamese cuisine, Khun Daeng's is a fantastic spot for a satisfying meal with...

Khun Daeng has phenomenal Vietnamese pork noodle soup! I took a look at the menu and thought that I was supposed to order 1 or 2 of the assorted pork types. The waitress is like, "No, you get some of each in every bowl." I was intrigued. Then the bowl arrived and the aroma was ambrosia! I took a spoonful and the taste was even better than the aroma! This is the real deal! There were shreds of pork shoulder, pork sausage, pork balls, pressed pork & some porks I haven't been introduced to but was happy to meet! They even through in a quail egg to really challenge my chopsticks skills. Yeah, it sounds easy, but you go and try to eat a slippery quail egg by picking it up with chopsticks... I have been eating bowls of soup all over the world and this bowl is in the top 3 I have ever had, the flavors are layered and subtle but simply delicious. Try this place! Look for the green awning, I believe they are open 1100 to 2130, closed on Sundays. Or so their...

Absolutely brilliant. There is often a queue here. Proper noodle soup as it should be, authentic, hot, spicy, brilliant. It was delicious, and the staff were very friendly even though they were crazy busy. It might seem a little intimidating and foreign if you are new to the city. Plan ahead and decide what you want as they are fat and efficient. The condiments are in the little 4 pack containers on the tables. It is customary to add dried chilli, pickles chilli, sugar and sish sauce. Beware the chillies are HOT, but you get used to it and it's a vital part of the dish. Don't miss out on the lovely lip tingling happiness, its not like some uk chillis with that nasty throat burning hot. Also don't be afraid of the mystery meat (pork and chicken) white meatballs, they are very tasty. We were even travelling with a Michelin trained chef and he...

If I had 1million USD, I wish I could open this noodle shop at 10 different places in Korea, Seoul, including Gangnam area. The noodle is so special and delicious and rich and the soup....? Oh my god... you can never imagine how good it is until you have it in real. I had Original noodle with egg (10 baht only), and I felt like I've accidently and finally met my soul food at last. So happy and enjoyed the ambience and it's yummy tastes here. And the Pork Sausage salad is similar to Som Tam (Thai Papaya salad) but basically, the sausage is so nice and good, and all other vehetables are fresh as hell, so the taste can never be boring or bad. I like it very much. For some of tourtists, the taste could be a bit spicy, but you know, that's the nature of thai food, right? Haizzzzz.. I want that 1 million USD now!!! ♥️

The good: The place is a really popular place, is always full. The soups are super popular and have a really good name. They offer papaya salad, spring rolls, pork sausage and 2 sweet dishes in case you want dessert. The prices are affordable for the locals so it is needless to say that are really affordable. The summer rolls were nice and crispy. The soup is not my taste but it is definitely traditional. The not so good: mainly the meat in the soup is coming from pork sausage (like spam from different parts of pork) which is not my taste and besides the not payment wit by card allowed, that by now is normal for me here in Bangkok, my biggest problem was that I saw a gigantic rat just walking around where the bathroom is and where the beverages are stored, so afterwards I couldn’t eat my food in peace.
