I had a blast here! It was my first time at a dog cafe, and I’m not really a pet owner. I wanted to have this experience because lately i’ve been thinking of adopting a puppy back home so I thought this would be a good learning experience. And it was!
From my perspective, the dogs seemed happy, groomed, friendly, generally well behaved and well cared for. But they definitely go CRAZY for those doggy treats 😅
There seemed to be something like 20-25 little dogs - most of them older than “puppy” age really in my opinion. Some of the bigger ones do dominate and push the little ones out of the way. As I was the only customer at the time, they all thronged around me as I was generous with the treats. I’ve never felt more “wanted” 🤭
I reached around 5pm and stayed for maybe 1 hour. The staff at the time were just kids and they were nice and helpful.
I would be happy to return here on my next trip. I would request the management to figure out some system whereby a guest can just relax with their preferred one dog if they want without getting bullied by other pups vying for attention.
Occasional peepee and poopoo was quickly cleaned up but I think you could light a little incense or something to make the place more welcoming.
Maybe some more doggy toys also would be a good idea - I saw some in the photos on google but at the shop, not so much.
Finally would request some of the other guests especially from Western countries do not be so quick to judge!
It seems like a family-run business in a unique niche. At the shop on the wall they displayed their certifications and from my experience I dont think think they deserve terrible reviews. They are clearly doing their best and I am grateful for the experience. Hopefully some improvements by the time for my...
Read moreThe dogs here are mistreated. I went in with a few friends because it at first seemed like a nice little cafe with dogs to play with, but the longer we stayed the more uncomfortable I felt.
Half the dogs were scared or flinched when you went to pet them, and another dog was isolated in a separate enclosure and was pacing in circles the entire time we were there, so was clearly very distressed. It also had nowhere to go to the toilet so made a mess on the floor.
One of the small dogs was misbehaving a little bit and one of the employees took it upstairs, from where we heard loud yelping, and then brought it straight back down again. The poor dog was instantly much quieter which seemed extremely suspicious.
To top it all off that same man (who was visibly mean and threatening to all of the dogs already) hit one of the dogs just for sniffing at my friends drink.
It makes me feel sick that I supported this business, and I cannot believe that there aren't other negative reviews from people because this cannot be a one-off. If you actually care about the dogs' wellbeing do not trust the...
Read moreThe cafe is cute and the dogs are absolutely adorable, groomed, well behaved, friendly and visually very happy. They offer a free drink with the ticket for adults and you can buy treats to feed the dogs. We planned on staying for one hour but ended up staying for about 3 hours. Later on the owner came down, a nice and polite lady, the dogs are all hers and seemed really happy to see her and be by her side. She was very polite and made conversation with us, we ended the visit with a Polaroid picture they can take with their camera, which offers a really nice souvenir & memory. My boyfriend and I loved it and had a great time. I would recommend it to anyone that likes dogs and wants to have a great time with dogs that are happy and well taken...
