Coffee Bug is a compact little coffee shop with just four tables inside in a nondescript location off the normal beaten track. The interior is comfortable, although it could use some upgrading. But it is worth a visit if you’re in the Night Bazaar area and looking for a good and inexpensive breakfast or lunch. Every dish is generous in portion, and prepared by the proprietor, a very lovely woman who speaks good English. She will gladly modify any menu item to suit your taste, for example, substituting sliced avocado for bacon. Every dish I’ve had a Coffee bug has been worth the price. My girlfriend and I ate here about 3 different times for breakfast while in Chiang Mai. The prices were great and the food was excellent. They also know how to make a good variety of coffees very well. The 2 ladies that work here were the only 2 employees we saw even after visiting 3 times so there was a day that we had to wait about 20 minutes for food after ordering but it was well worth it.
