5/5: Delicious food at great prices, and nice staff If you’re looking for some tasty Thai cuisine, this is a great place. I came here 3 times over the course of my 7 days in Chiang Mai and I enjoyed it every time. I came alone the first time, and enjoyed it enough to bring friends with me the next time. The Panang Chicken Curry is delicious. I got it multiple times and wish I could eat it right now. The staff is nice and attentive. Should you need something, usually one staff member will be there to accommodate. The food came promptly, didn’t take too long. Lastly, the drink options are great! The mango shake that I had was delicious. I’d recommend adding yogurt to it! Only negative I can think of is that if you sit outside, you may deal with some flies around you. However, I can’t blame the restaurant for nature doing what nature does haha! It wasn’t a big deal for me; if it is for you, then you can always just sit inside. Overall, a great place for delicious Thai food!

2nd review 2 years later. It was much busier but that's probably because this time was high season. Service was efficient. The wifi was down though. A large Chang was 90 Baht. A massaman curry was 70 Baht. It arrived with rice and was a vety large bowl. It was very good. When I came to pay the bill was 170. I'd been charged 10 Baht for the rice, which is nothing but I'd prefer to be able to choose as I'm trying to loose weight and there was a lot of the massaman curry. In short, you won't go hungry here ;-) Good Thai food. I'm quite partial to Khao Soi so I decided to try it here. There service was fairly quick. She even asked if I wanted it spicy and I said no thanks. It came out fairly quickly and it was indeed hardly spicy, as requested. There was lots of it and it had plenty of chunks of chicken. It was only 70 Baht. A large Chang to wash it down was 80 Baht. There is free wifi. They also have a couple of fans to help you keep cool.

I reached around 6.30pm and the place was pretty crowded and full of tourists. I was able to get a table but was informed that food might take up to 50 minutes to be served. I first got a coconut shake (฿45) which was pretty good. I got the Tom Kha Kai (฿80) which had a good sour taste to it with a slight sweetness. I enjoyed this a lot. I also got a whole fish with sweet and sour sauce (฿300). This fish tasted fresh and the flesh was chunky. The pumpkin and egg stir fry (฿60) was alright but I figured I would order this dish since it's seldom seen in other eateries. The panang mushroom curry (฿70) tasted a little off to me and this was my first time trying panang curry. However, I had a pretty decent experience here, and if you're a tourist, I'm sure you'll enjoy the food here.

I have been to this restaurant many many times. Generous servings and the food is amazing! The prices are reasonable too! But… the majority of the staff does not speak English. So, if you have any questions - save them for another establishment. If you ask and they don’t understand or don’t know how to answer - they’ll just walk away and ignore you. This is especially frustrating if you come and see that you cannot be seated right away and you are trying to figure out if it makes sense to wait, waiting and asking, waiting and asking… to find out 10 minutes later that they were busy and got tired and so they decided to close to new patrons an hour and a half early before the official closing time.

The food is good, definitely not the "best Thai food I've ever had". It's definitely not worth the wait. The Khao Soi was bland, Tom yum fried rice was good. Basically it's meant for tourists who like non spicy food. We waited for about 90 minutes for our food which is just crazy. Coming to the service, the staff is not attentive and don't even look at the tables. They tend to crowd around the kitchen area and just stand there. A lot of people who came before us got their food first. I also saw them mess up the orders of other tables. Not sure if it's bad management or serving some people last based on their ethnicity, as previous reviews have mentioned. I will not be returning.

Been here three times during my stay in the North of Thailand. The food is amazing. Had green curry, panang curry and Tom yum goun soup. My friend had chicken cashew stir fry and fried rice with curry powder. All dishes tasted amazing and is to be considered the best food I had so far in Thailand. Also the broccoli egg salad and the spicy mushroom salad is worth mentioning. The service is superb. Food is served fast and freshly cooked. The staff takes care about one very kindly. The prices is the food is absolutly worth the qualify and amount you get for it. 5 Stars and definitely highly recommended!
