Madame Koh Fun Dining has a lot going for it, with its stylish and modern ambiance creating a vibrant setting for an evening out. A standout feature is the outdoor garden area, which provides a lovely space for enjoying a drink in a more relaxed and atmospheric setting. The restaurant is also easy to access, welcoming walk-ins, accepting credit cards, and offering draft beer—a refreshing highlight of the menu. The staff is friendly and fluent in English, and the menu is thoughtfully written in English, making it very accessible to international visitors. We tried the smashed cucumber salad and spicy seafood noodles. While the dishes were enjoyable, they didn’t quite deliver the level of flavor or uniqueness expected for the price point. The menu and overall vibe seem tailored more toward tourists than those seeking authentic local cuisine, which may appeal to some but felt less immersive to us. The restaurant’s location on a noisy street does detract somewhat from the experience, and a disappointing oversight was the lack of basic restroom amenities like toilet paper and soap, which took the staff a while to address. For a restaurant aiming for a premium feel, these details are essential and should not be overlooked. That said, the welcoming service, stylish environment, and charming garden area make it a decent spot for a casual drink or meal. With improvements in hygiene and a stronger focus on enhancing the value of its dishes, it has the potential to become a go-to spot. For now, it’s an okay option, particularly for tourists, but it doesn’t quite stand out as a must-visit dining experience in Chiang Mai.

*A hidden gem worthy of a Michelin Star!* Where do I even begin? The first time we came here, we were in a rush and just wanted a quick bite. We were served immediately, and the food arrived in no time. Even taking the leftovers with us was no problem at all — everything was handled with ease and a smile. The second time we tried the honey prawns and the pork with pineapple in sweet and sour sauce — honestly, some of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted in my life. The cocktails are crafted with just as much care and attention to detail. The interior is elegant yet calming, making it the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The manager is genuinely kind, and he takes real pride in explaining the dishes and cocktails — something that makes the whole experience even more memorable. Prices are on the higher end for Thailand, but for a European they feel very reasonable — and given the quality, it’s an absolute bargain. We’ve already been here twice, and we’ll definitely be coming back. A truly unforgettable dining experience!

Madama Koh: a quintessential map to creative Asian-fusion cuisine. A Red Neon sign beckons one inside, Chinese lanterns imbue a red-light 430 terahertz atmosphere: vibrant_ stimulating_ exciting. Red crabs covered in red sauce, mild red chili crab dip, giant red juicy prawns in Sambal, Singapore Laksa, creamy Khao Soi Duck… Gavin and Madame Koh’s clever drinking-food menu, unlike Pok Pok’s Andy Ricker’s drunk w/beer & whiskey, Madame Koh’s notched up serving signature cocktails prepared to perfection. Imagine subtle-flavored creamy Gin reddened with brûléed passion fruit chilled w/ crystal-cubed ice. Divine. Drink ‘n Eat, Drink, Drink, take a bite, Drink; rice has no place in this dining experience, share, converse face-to-face, phones-forgotten like the old sultry Singapore days at Raffles. A Unique Delicious Experience. Chiang Mai, Thailand Rocks@Madame Koh.

I visited this venue with high expectations based on its glowing reviews and food ratings, but unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the hype. We made a reservation and were promptly shown to our table upon arrival. While the venue only had one other table occupied the staffed by what seemed to be plenty of team members, the service was shockingly inattentive. It took 15 minutes to flag down a waiter just to place our order for food and drinks, with no water offered in the meantime. When our drinks were ready, they were handed over the bar for me to retrieve myself—an odd and awkward moment as I carefully maneuvered the cocktails to our table. Dinner eventually arrived, and while the food was decent, it wasn't remarkable, especially given the lack of follow-up service. No one came to check on us for additional drinks or to offer any extras, which we might have ordered if the service had been better. Paying the bill was another hassle; getting the staff’s attention to settle up and receive the correct change took far longer than it should have. Overall, this experience was disappointing, especially considering the rave reviews and social media buzz about this place. The food was okay, but the poor customer service and lack of attention to detail overshadowed everything. Honestly, I’ve had better food and service at local markets for a fraction of the price. This visit fell far short of even the most realistic expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience. Save your time and money—there are better options out there. This was not written by Chat GPT but is my honest feedback. And I hope the dinner guest after us when you were busy enjoyed the experience everyone else has spoken off.. unfortunately for us we didn't receive this. regardless of your camera footage this is a true review and...

After seeing ubiquitous ads for this restaurant on Facebook, I decided to check it out for myself, convinced it could not live up to its own hype. I was wrong. Madam Koh is Legitimately fun.

I made a recommendation as suggested, and although I had never met the owner before, he met me at the door upon my arrival by name. He immediately spotted my partner and I a shot of Petron And stop by our table periodically to make sure everything was up to snuff. You couldn’t find better hospitality

The food has a strong Singaporean influence, and if you’re like me, Singapore has some of the best food you can find.

The restaurant is intimate with a cool vibe. The cocktails, as advertised, were very good. They clearly put some focus on this aspect of the experience.

Around about 9:00 PM, we were surprised by a cabaret show performed by several elaborately dressed lady boys. They circulated among the diners as they danced and sang acted seductively without being crass. Most of the diners, Male and female alike, were videoing the dancers on their mobile phones.

We spent much longer than we expected, and really...
