Moo-Ood Moo Kratha Buffet — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

EAT👏🏻THIS👏🏻MOOKATA👏🏻 it is pretty good for the price + vibes + selection. Around 200 bahts per person. We came on a Wednesday night with no reservation for 2 paxs. Waited for less than 10 mins and we got a table! Before we sat down, the staff wiped down both the table and the BENCHES. Very hygienic I like.

There is a pretty good selection of meat, some seafood and about 4 different cooked food items. You need to take the pork lard cubes and put it at the top of the grill, let it MELTS a little and oil up the entire grill. Then the meat won't stick to the grill. TAKE THE FRIED BANANAS IT IS NICE. The fried banana were gone really quickly and we had to camp for a while to get them. The dessert selection we had was chocolate brownies, strawberry puddings and ice creams.

We went after sun set so it was actually quite cooling and we don't find it hot at all.

Great experience! This place was next to our hotel and everything time when we passed by we saw it was packed and people queuing to get in. We checked the reviews on google maps and decided to give it a try. We had to wait 25 minutes because there place is so busy but it was certainly worth the wait! It is basically unlimited all you can eat thai barbecue, they put a fire with charcoal at your table and there is a room with all kinds of food to grab (meat- fish- vegetables- fried stuff- icecream- desserts-…) . This was amazing. I’ll explain how it works as we didn’t know before we went. You get meat from the Buffett then grill it on a neat grill heated by coals. The meat drippings slide to the side area where water is boiling. Veggies from the buffet are put here and eaten as a soup. They taste very good as this becomes a rich broth. There was a great meat selection and veggie selection. Lots of sauces to pick from with rice and fried foods available. Quite a few drink options as well as well as dessert.
