S&P Chang Phueak — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

This place should never be rated more than 2 stars as a "restaurant". With that being said, I'd give it a 3.5 star as a bakery place. I really doubt if they have a real kitchen or just whole bunch of fridges and microwaves because all of their food taste like microwaved or premade. I ordered grilled chicken with papaya salad , and a bowl of hot and sour noodle Soup. The chicken is barely warm, the papaya salad tastes like something from last week. The soup is not too bad but you can definitely tell it is from the soup powder instead of real boiled soup. I went here because S & P make the best green tea frappes ever. I have to rate this shop down because we stood at the counter for 5 minutes while the only staff member was on her phone talking and totally ignored us we walked around the shop & my husband chose something to eat. We took it to the counter. She rang it up and pointed at the price on the register. I indicated I wanted a green tea frappe. She went to make it, still on her phone. Tuna pastry and chicken pastry (chosen from the display near the entrance) were not impressive. Large croissant was nice though. Tea is the cheapest tasting brand in the world: Lipton. They provide a tiny portion of milk, anything more costs 60 baht. Breakfast of fried eggs with mushrooms and fried chicken (in lieu of pork sausages) was cold and tasteless.
