Suki Koka — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

North gate market definitely has the best food in Chiang Mai! My husband found Suki Koka in some blog posts and glad he did! This place was packed! And with locals, not tourists, which is a great sign. We had no idea what to do but luckily someone pittied us and helped us out. We had to get a queue number and wait to order. When our friend saw our number he said it would be at least an hour! We decided to hang out at the nearby jazz bar until then. We finally got to order (unfortunately had only asked for one plate) and then got our food about 20 minutes later. This was the most amazing dish I’ve had. Because of some mixed reviews here, I tried both stir fried and soup versions. I got beef for soup and mixed for stir fried. They both tasted good for me. It even tasted better when I mixed their red sauce.

I ordered for take away since as usual the queue was very long. I asked around and for take aways you need to approach the cashier (see photo) and tell them you are ordering for take away. They charge for the cup for take away orders. They told me that for take away orders it would take 40 minutes and i was so surprised that my order was ready in...

This is my first time to Chiang Mai, this hawker is introduce by my hotel assistance.

They have a proper system to serving clients. You just have to take ticket & wait for their call.

When comes to your turn, order at counter will do.

Waiting Minutes: 20Minutes +- They provide quick cooking system, although they have a long queue but doesn’t affected your waiting time.

Food Quality Pork is tender, cabbage is crunchy.
