Yun Artisan Cafe & Gallery — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

I wandered into this café quite by chance and ended up having a lovely little moment. The Burmese noodle salad and tea leaf salad inside tomatoes were both delicious and felt like a delightful surprise.

The baristas were absolute stars, especially when I started making odd coffee requests—“cold but no ice”, and sometimes “just two ice cubes.” Instead of raising an eyebrow, they humoured me, and we had a good laugh about my peculiar ways.

A cosy spot with good food, kind people, and a sense of humour. Definitely worth a visit!

We wanted to go to a Burmese restaurant in the area. They have arts, crafts, lacquer, and beautiful decorations from Bagan upstairs. My wife bought 3 pairs of earrings. Since we have made a trip to Myanmar, we had a warm and wonderful interaction with the staff. Kiss is particularly friendly and welcoming. Everything was excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere. This spot feels like peace. The energy here is slow, creative, and intentional like every detail has a story behind it. The food was fresh, balanced, and full of flavor real Burmese soul food. You can taste the care that went into it.

The space itself feels like an art piece the wood, the design, the music, everything connects. It’s more than a café it’s a reminder that food, art, and healing can exist in the same place. Definitely a place I’ll come back to whenever I need to...
