Sad to say after 3 years of coming here, last Monday will be my last. I have to agree that the taste has changed and it feels pretty pricey, but this is not what has made me start looking for a new favorite Indian place. I went there with my friend and she had to use the bathroom, to get to the bathroom you have to exit the restaurant and walk about 100 meters to the end of a shopping strip, still no problem, then you have pay 5 baht, annoying, even more annoying is that it is an unmanned turnstile and only takes 5 baht coin, return to restaurant, find a 5 baht coin then repeat step 1. Annoying but not the end of the world, what is really super annoying is you have enough staff standing around watching you walk out to the WC, ( it has full length plate windows) the least they could do is remind you that you need a 5 baht coin, what would be I guess the unimaginable is if they just gave you a 5 baht coin courtesy of the restaurant where we were spending $70 between the two of us, ( tell me again why am I paying to use the WC? ) She goes into the WC, no soap, no tissue and the biddee is broken, no water in the sinks either, great. Yes I understand it belongs to the building owner and not the restaurant, but this is disgusting. Next, a glass of red had been ordered, what was brought to the table was obviously a glass of white wine with a small splash of red wine to give it the hue of rose lite- don't think that exists last I looked, ( no, they do not serve rose by the glass- no mix up there). When we pointed this to our server, he apologized and gave a Shiraz instead, great- however, why did you even try a pull a trick like that ? It's rude, insulting and makes you sincerely wonder if the staff thinks we were idiots. I have worked in the restaurant business for 35 years and continue to do so, the simple 5 baht coin to their guests is such a no brainer and the wine stunt was enough to make that our last trip there. Too many other...
Read moreWent here after an event I as hosting and so my friend and I decided to come here to eat as I was on Soi 11 anyway. Location is ideal
The food is really good, na for me to say that it is HUGE because Indian food in Bkk is hit or miss and this is a hit for me as a food and travel influencer, I can recommend this place for good food. The prices are reasonable for the good food you get.
We ordered the masala papadam, the chicken malai and some mutton dish with the usual naan.
the atmosphere how was vey nice til they brought some Indian singer to belt our Bollywood tunes and my friend and I couldn't even have a conversation as it was so loud.
I think sometimes restaurants forget how to create a restaurants and make them in 1/2 bars and which makes for a very unpleasant experience. When I eat dinner I love to have music in the background but not blaring in your face with live singers and the volume turned up so loud.
Anyway, next time if I come back here it wont be to sit in it will be for take away.

One of the most expensive indian restaurants to dine in these parts of Thailand. Please don't be fooled by the prices they indicate on their menu and catalogue outside the restaurant.
From my dinner experience, When I specifically asked about Tandoori chicken being a whole chicken, the waiter said yes it will be served as a whole chicken and I also requested for that whole chicken to be cut into 4 pieces for us to share. The chicken arrived as 4 pieces of drum whole leg. The worst part of it, the restaurant charged me for 2 whole tandoori chicken (BHT 1100 btw).
I got charged a good 17% service fee (10% service charge + VAT 7%) out of the total bill.
Food was average. Typical indian food you can find anywhere. I guess the only pros at the restaurant were the service and live band music outside. Other than that, I advise avoiding this restaurant unless you are willing to spend a lot on...
