Finch Bangkok — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Nuea Subdistrict

Finch Bar in Bangkok drew me in due to its striking similarity in vibe and appearance to Darkness in Pattaya. Having enjoyed Darkness, I was eager to explore Finch’s menu and atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several key areas.

While the waitstaff were pleasant and helpful, the overall professionalism lacked finesse and polish. The presentation of drinks and service were far from the refined standards I’ve come to expect, leaving me to give detailed, firm instructions to get things right. It was disappointing to see the head barman more engrossed in his phone than in creating an engaging bar experience—a detail that speaks volumes about priorities.

Considering the prices, which are on par with Darkness, the disparity in service quality and style is glaring. Finch Bar has potential, but it needs more focused bar training and attention to detail to truly compete.

With a bit of effort in refining the team’s professionalism and elevating their presentation, Finch could rise to meet its promising ambiance. Until then, it remains an average experience at a premium...

Wow! Everything about this place is fantastic. Went out for a late bite and randomly popped in to a great meal.

I enjoyed the fusion masala tacos. Everything about the dish is top notch. Perfect presentation and flavor blends. The sauces here not just for decoration. Added just the right amount of pop and complemented the salsa dottting (perfectly spaced to ensure even distribution and just the right amount of spice per bite. The salsa consistency of blend takes a bit of magic to get it this right. Back in the USA, I live near and travel into Mexico often. You can stack up this salsa to any of the best I’ve enjoyed before.)

The restaurant itself is new and wonderful in all the ways a premium dining setting should be. Great lighting. Good music at just the right sound level. And enough visual geometry changes to bring a joyous life and flow to the room.

Probably the only surprise was how much better the staffing here is than most places I enjoy in the orient. Friendly and professional service with English fluency. I forgot I was in Thailand for a minute.

So we were out the other night and it was a group of people that were there to listen to some good music 🎶 and have some great food 🍲 and drinks 🍹 mix and mingle and dance 💃🏽 a bit!

It was pretty dead for a Wednesday night however our group made up for the fun shenanigans by going up and singing with a band on stage and just dancing around ourselves !

The atmosphere is fun because it’s on the busiest street or one of the busiest streets in Bangkok !

We ordered food we ordered drinks and most importantly we all had fun !

🤩 Finch is a place I would recommend for good atmosphere the food is plated very well and very creative and the drinks especially the cocktails are also creatively crafted!

I would highly recommend you go to Finch if you’re on that street for something a little bit different and unique !
