I have had their food pre covid and it was amazing.. This was in the old location in 2019.
This time when I traveled to BKK, I noticed their old place is closed and they have opened a new location, much fancier and much more expensive.
I thought to myself, maybe this is an upgraded version of the previous branch.
So we order the chicken malai boti, the motton tikka, matar pulao, jeera rice, dal tadka and 3 rotis.
The chicken wasn't fresh and was chewy. Dint seem freshed cooked. 260 bht for 6 small pcs of thigh meat which felt cook in the center.. like a pre-cooked type and just heated.
The motton tikka... 450 bhat just for 6 small chunks of badly marinated meat.. definitely looked like it wasn't freshly prepared... more like microwaved... that too not heated enough.
The rice dishes had a lot of oil and the daal.. I dont know how people can mess up a daal.
My total bill was around 1200 bhat... I feel the 70 bhat shawarmas was a better value and taste.
The only good thing was the rotis, which came half way through the meal... yes, half of our meal was done.
I informed the waiters that in 2019, I ate at their old place for a week straight and the food was amazing. This time, only prices went up but quality dropped in the gutter.
They were just silent. No apologies or empathy.
I am writing this review now because I am suffering from a bad stomach.. thanks to their unfresh and bad quality in food.
I'm definitely...

I had the pleasure of dining here, and every dish exceeded my expectations. The chicken biryani was perfectly spiced, with tender, juicy chicken and fragrant basmati rice cooked to perfection. Each bite was packed with rich flavors and just the right level of spice.
The butter chicken was absolutely delicious—creamy, mildly spiced, and full of depth. The sauce was thick, flavorful, and paired beautifully with their fresh, soft garlic naan. Speaking of naan, it was baked to perfection—crispy on the edges, soft inside, and infused with just the right amount of garlic flavor.
Beyond the amazing food, the service was outstanding. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, making sure everything was just right. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
If you’re in Sukhumvit and craving authentic Indian flavors, I highly recommend Little Spicy Restaurant. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance makes it a place worth visiting...
Read moreLittle Spicy did not pop up in the search engine when looking for Indian food on sukumwit and it's quite easily missed when walking past. We warmed to the gentleman in front of the restaurant as he was polite and not trying to force sell to every passer by like many other venues in the area. Inside, we were warmly welcomed and helped in selecting from the menu, which has a good range of dishes. Service was excellent and the food really tasty. Another bonus was the absence of a compulsory 10% service charge, although I would gladly have paid it in this case as the service was great. Servings are generous. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't finish it all, although we loved every bite. Little Spicy is a little gem. We will definitely be going again when next in Bangkok. I would have loved to try their more spicy food... Next time for sure! My wife is Thai and loves cooking with spices, she was very impressed with all the different herbs and spices in the food. The garlic naan is a must. Their korma is super creamy. Visited on Friday 26th...
