Read moreHeard about Dosa King so went on to try during my regular trip to Bangkok. Our experience was far below expectations. Reached there through Google maps, there are 2 ways to reach. One is main entrance (through Google maps) and other is narrow passage. Both leading to the same restaurant. Dosa King as the name gives a image of many Dosa varieties, so we had to ask the lady server which one is the recommended & highest selling variety. She recommended us Paneer Tikka Dosa & Cheese Masala Dosa. So we ordered both with Ginger Tea. Cheese Masala Dosa came within 2 mins, but it was very cold. So we had to tell her this issue. To which she immediately took it back to the kitchen. We felt it was cooked long time ago and kept for sometime. After sometime the lady server bought the Cheese Masala Dosa but the size was 75% of previous and with much less cheese on top. She told us the Dosa was cold because of Cheese and now the cheese is inside Dosa. Whatever the reason might be but this time Dosa was sufficiently warm. After 10-15 mins Paneer Tikka Dosa came but again the same situation Paneer pieces were too cold. When we complained to the lady server, owner came to us and said the Dosas are cold because we are sitting below AC and if you require warm order another Dosa. Since we didn't want to take chance and ruin our dinner we decided not to order anymore. Ginger Tea arrived, but this time we checked if it is warm. We were relieved that it was not cold. Our total bill came for 2 pax as 885 THB (that includes 10% service charge). Lady server was surprised that we didn't leave a tip (why would we leave a tip with such an experience and service charge already added in the bill). Overall we felt the experience was not at all value for money. Our opinion for this place is strongly...
