Last night’s visit to Hong Teh Restaurant was a delightful blast from the past. After a hiatus of 30 years, it was a pleasant surprise to find that both the food and service have maintained their excellent standards. The Snow Fish in Ginger was a standout dish, perfectly balancing the delicate flavors of the fish with the warmth of ginger. Read moreFood is decent (nothing’s really special to spark the light) but the restaurant seems to overcharge my family for the beverage! We couldn’t find beers or cokes on the menu so I asked the staff if they had beers. They said they have Singha - and I ordered 3 Singha plus 1 Coke. Do you know how much it costed? Almost 500 Baht for 3 bottles of beers and 1 can of coke!!! How ridiculous, I was stunned looking at the bill they gave me.
