I don't understand who's giving this place 5 stars and praising it. Filter the reviews by "Lowest" and look at the staff responses - you'll understand everything.
In this "establishment," all the food seems to be prepared by someone attempting to be a chef, but they're not. The dishes look very plain, and the taste is nonexistent (not delicious).
A burger for 379 baht - we weren't asked how we wanted it cooked. (prices exclude 7% tax and an additional 10% service charge!!!) The appearance of the burger is close to that of a 7/11 burger (I swear, the 7/11 burger is much tastier).
The fries - tasteless, dry, unsalted. We ordered them separately as a dish (cheese fries) - it's just plain fries with some ordinary cheese on top (looks bad).
Chicken Caesar wrap - okay, this is just bad. Usually, it's hard to mess up something like this, right? They didn't mention that it comes with fries - we wouldn't have paid an extra 180+ baht for tasteless fries with cheese.
Beer - we asked for 2 types of beer and 2 types of cider - none were available. Is this a beer establishment, right? :) We ended up with Guinness. I'm not entirely sure it was Guinness I was drinking, but that's what it says on their menu. Tasteless beer from the bottom of the keg.
Oh, forgot to mention. During our dinner, I saw a cockroach running around. Quite agile, just like at home.
You know, this is one of those places where you want to take a pill after eating, just in case.
My wife and I walked into this establishment to have a beer and a bite, just like in a regular beer joint. That was the mood. I wasn't expecting anything gourmet, but I didn't expect such a letdown. I don't recommend it to anyone. Reading the reviews, I have a theory that it's like the plot of the movie "Parasite 2019" - these aren't real employees, haha.
P.S Go to my account and look at the photos from other reviews - all of them (shown in the photos) are CHEAPER than my visit to Bully's (bacon and cheeseburger, cheese fries, chicken Caesar, 1 Guinness,...
Read moreI am a meat lover and enjoy opportunities to taste local delicious food.
I recently dined at Bully's Bangkok and was blown away by their excellent ribs half rack. As I took my first bite, I knew that I was in for a treat.
The ribs were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of char on the outside and tender meat on the inside. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and I could tell that the meat had been marinated and seasoned with care. The half rack was the perfect size for one person, and I was glad that I didn't have to share it with anyone else.
But what really made the ribs stand out was the sauce. It was the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, and it complemented the meat perfectly. The ribs comes with home-made coleslaw and french fries.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great, with a cozy and casual vibe that made me feel right at home.
Overall, I recommend trying the ribs at Bully's Bangkok. They are definitely a must-try for any barbecue lover.
If you're in the mood for some delicious and tender ribs with a great sauce, look no further than Bully's Bangkok.
My only con is the service. Some of the Staff is not exactly what i will call friendly.
PS: There is a 7% VAT fees and a 10% service fees that you have to pay in addition to the displayed price. So a total of 17% more than...
Read moreNice atmosphere, liked the ambiance, had an amazing sharing platter (see pics) which was delish, but it has drawbacks! First beer, I ordered a Singha. At the same time there was a Tiger beer mistakenly delivered to another nearby table, which was rejected by the occupant as it wa duplicate . It then arrived to me having traversed its journey via the bar from whence it came. Now, 1: I have no problem with Tiger beer. Actually I Iike It, and 2: I understand sometimes there are issues when drinks are duplicated or human error is a factor. But please don’t mug me off with someone else’s beer when I’ve seen what occurred and wasn’t even asked if I was ok with a swap of beers! Be honest! The food was good and portion size was ample and reasonably priced for the Sukhumvit area, but at 175 Baht (Feb 2020 prices) a pint... well you judge for yourself. The toilets when used were clean and acceptable, staff were friendly and accommodating so no issues there. Two of us however were bitten alive at lower leg level by mozzies / fleas so that wasn’t good. Hefty prices for a mediocre experience. Make your own decision...
