This is my first time at this restaurant, so take that into consideration. I will revisit and update if I feel anything has changed.
We ordered the spaghetti vongole and capricciosa pizza. Both of these were very good. The pizza was a 4/5, with a good crust undercarriage; the pasta was flavorful and al dente, with flavors of wine, herbs, and garlic clearly present on the palate. Fantastic. The house wine is a generous portion and quite good, and the tiramisu is excellent, if not just a tad sweet.
The free garlic bread doesn’t feel very Italian, but it’s still delicious nonetheless. I was unable to try their lasagna to see how they handle the basics, but I did sample the tomato sauce, and I found it to be excellent in quality and clearly freshly homemade with a lot of flavor and seasoning, without being sweet.
In terms of service, they’re an easy 5/5. Yes, there seems to be no Italian on staff, and the pictures of the risotto seem to be dry and not authentic, but for the price (which is excellent—no service charge!) they just may become my new favorite Italian restaurant in downtown Bangkok. Time, and further...
Read moreWe had a lovely dinner at this charming little Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a touch of rustic decor that made us feel like we’d stepped into a corner of Italy.
We started with the Caprese salad, which was fresh and simple — just the way it should be. The tomatoes were ripe and sweet, and the mozzarella had a creamy texture that paired beautifully with the fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil.
For mains, we tried two pasta dishes. The pasta with salmon was a standout — perfectly cooked al dente pasta with a creamy, flavorful sauce and generous portions of tender salmon. It felt rich without being heavy. The pasta with sausage was hearty and satisfying, with bold flavors and a nice bit of spice from the sausage. Both dishes were clearly made with care.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food.
Overall, it was a great experience. We’d definitely come back to try more of their menu — perhaps the pizza or a...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious! This was one of the most authentic Italian meals I’ve had—it truly tasted like a hearty, home-cooked dish straight from an Italian kitchen. I ordered the Penne with red sauce, and it was exceptional. The sauce was rich and flavorful, not your average canned version. The portion was generous too—comforting and satisfying in every bite.
The restaurant is cozy and tastefully designed, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all very attentive, professional and warm. The owner was kind and gracious, even treating us to a complimentary slice of cheesecake. I’ve never been a fan of dense Western-style cheesecakes, but this one was something else—so fresh, light, and clearly made with real cheese. I was genuinely surprised by how good it was.
To top it off, the owner personally walked us to the door and invited us to return anytime. It felt like being welcomed into a family home. A truly memorable and heartwarming experience. I’ll...
