Marzano Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ko Samui

This was one of the best pizzas I have eaten. Seriously. Surprisingly, it tasted way better than most pizzas I've eaten in Italy.

I had a pepperoni. It had an authentic neapolitanian feel, crunchy puffy edges. Perfect amount of cheese and pepperoni. Not too much, not too little. Very high quality of food and fresh ingredients for sure. It was baked in the old-school pizza oven, most likely a wood-burning type. In addition, I received a free set of spices - oregano, spicy dried tomato mix, and olive oil.

Besides great food, there is a nice design inside, elegant yet laid-back vibes. Chillfull music playing in the background. The place is a half-open room, with a view of the sea. It is literally at the beach. Polite, kind staff. Prices are a bit higher than average, but it is totally worth it.

Well deserved 5 stars. I recommend it...

Vastly overrated restaurant that makes barely acceptable napolitan style pizza but everything else is rock bottom. We ordered two simple cocktails, they were so bad we couldn't drink them. When we gave feedback it was ignored (and we were charged for them). The place looks decayed and has no decoration whatsoever. Ambiance: zero. The service almost doesn't understand English. They include compulsory 10% tip in the bill. There is no airco. They have no spicy olive oil. About the pizza: it's ok but don't expect anything like what you would get in a pizzeria with similar ratings in Europe. The oven is gas fired, the dough has no deep flavors, the crust on my pizza was not crunchy and the ingredients are not up to European quality. Big...

We arrived to be told that there were no tables available, another staff member came over and offered us a table and bean bags which was ok for us to sit at. A table then did become available after round 5 minutes after guests left.

I ordered the ceaser salad to be told that I have to pay extra for bacon which I agreed to even though the menu stated it included bacon. When it arrived it was basic, small portion, not a lot of dressing and the croutons were soggy and stale. My friends ordered pizza which took 45 minutes to arrive. Basic over all.

When the bill arrived they added 2 expensive drinks on which we did not order.
