Acai Story - Velaa Sindhorn Village — Restaurant in Lumphini Subdistrict

Acai Story at Vela for the first time and I was impressed by their variety of menu and toppings. They have different sizes and flavors of acai bowls, such as classic, tropical, berry, and chocolate, and you can choose from a range of toppings, such as granola, nuts, seeds, fruits, and honey. They also have smoothies, yogurt bowls, and take-home products.

The acai bowls were delicious and refreshing, and I liked how they were not too sweet or watery. The portions were generous and filling, and the toppings added extra crunch and flavor. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cafe was clean and cozy.

The only downside was that the prices were quite high, especially for the large bowls and the extra toppings. I paid about 300 baht for a large bowl with three toppings, which is more than I would normally spend on a dessert. However, I think it was worth it for the quality and taste of the acai, and the health benefits that come with it.

I would recommend Acai Story at Vela to anyone who loves acai or wants to try a superfood that is good for you and the environment. Pretty good açai, fun size is very sufficient for a light breakfast, 120 baht. I found the acai to be a little too sweet and not enough tartness / fruit flavour. I thought the fruits bowl was nice, but I found the mango too ripe, and the amount of fruit to feel a bit sparse. More chia / coconut would have been nice. This is a small shop close to Lumphini Park that has a large variety of açai based bowls and smoothies. I had a açai bowl with Greek yoghurt,fresh fruit and coconut shavings.
