Trying out this place which recently opened in Central Chidlom (2nd floor bridge connecting to Central Embassy). Even after lunch hours, the place is still very crowded. But no worries since the line moves quickly. Got the Fried Tofu with Scallion, which i just love. The taste is light and nicely complimented with the dipping sauce. Also got the Pho Bo, but honestly it’s a bit different from my preference. The broth although intense but it’s a bit too sweet to my liking. They also serves it with 2 beef toppings, brisket & sliced beef. The brisket is just so tender. But the sliced beef is a bit too thick, and it bore the taste of sesame oil. I visited this place for lunch before leaving bangkok. Ordered shrimp roll, kale brouts and viet coffee. The shrimp rolls have no flavour at all. I can only taste the sauce in it. The kale brouts are just the opposite, it soaks more than enough oil and soy sauce so the flavour is very strong. The viet coffee is very good but the condensed milk is too sweet. I should skip the milk and simply enjoy the coffee alone. Last but not least, the staff service is very attentive and efficient. The tables are clean and all the utensils look very nice with good quality. Not worth the price! Quality control failed! Interesting place with good atmosphere and great service. The restaurant was well managed with dedicated staffs. Creative interpretation of Vietnamese food/drink and dessert. Fresh ingredients and cleanliness is a plus. I gave five stars for the first and second visits. But the third time when I brought some guests, the same dishes taste different.
