July 2025,This restaurant is easily accessible from the Chit Lom BTS station, just a short walk away to the Mercury Ville Mall and then to the restaurant on level 2; was here for an early dinner for 2 persons around 5pm, and had a good table with an external view of the streets below. The restaurant quickly filled up with diners after our initial orders. We ordered the Jumbo crab in yellow curry, Grilled Giant river Prawn, Tom Yam Goong, Pan Fried Oyster Omelette, Stir Fried Morning Glory vegetables , with accompanying drinks of a whole Coconut and an Iced Thai milk tea. Jumbo crab in yellow curry - generous amount of large pieces of fresh crab crab meat, the yellow curry was creamy and flavourful which was not spicy. Grilled Giant river Prawn - very fresh and grilled al dente with good green seafood dipping sauce to mitigate the richness of the prawn meat. Tom Yam Goong - good flavour profile with the right proportions of sweet, sour, savoury with a large portion of medium sized fresh prawns the stock had a slight hint of creaminess surprisingly not spicy. Pan Fried Oyster Omelette - Crispy exterior with soft interior, sufficiently flavourful with large Oysters served on a hot plate on a bed of bean sprouts, served with a sweet Thai chili sauce dip. Fried Morning Glory vegetables - large portion with al dente morning glory with was flavourful as it was stir fried with oyster sauce with sliced red chilli and garlic. Whole Coconut - the coconut water with was fresh and surprisingly cold with out the addition of ice cubes. Iced Thai milk tea. - very good with milk froth floating on top. Overall we had an excellent meal and we could not fault any of the dishes that we ordered. I would have personally preferred some of the dishes to be more spicy . My mistake of not conveying my spice preference to the service staff . The restaurant has a nice ambience and diligent and attentive service staff. I will definitely patronise this restaurant the next time I...
Read moreSavoey Mercury Ville Chidlom! Get ready for a Thai food fiesta that'll make your taste buds do the cha-cha 💃🌶️. Imagine a place where the flavors are as vibrant as a Bangkok street market, the spices are as bold as a Thai kickboxer, and the atmosphere is as lively as a tuk-tuk ride through the city 🇹🇭🚕. Picture yourself diving into a plate of Pad Thai that's so good, it'll make you forget all your problems (at least for the duration of the meal) 🍜🤤. Or perhaps you'd prefer a fiery green curry that'll have you sweating with joy 🔥😅. It's a place where you can feel like you're starring in your own food adventure movie. However, let’s be honest, sometimes "popular Thai restaurant" can feel a bit like a real-life game of "chopstick acrobatics," where you're trying to navigate those slippery noodles while also trying to avoid accidentally launching a prawn across the table 🥢🍤. And while the food is undeniably amazing, you might also find yourself questioning your ability to resist ordering a second helping of everything, especially if you're a Thai food fanatic like me 😋❤️. Overall, Savoey Mercury Ville Chidlom offers a truly delightful and authentic dining experience, a place where you can savor the best of Thai cuisine and maybe even discover a new favorite dish, even if you sometimes feel like you’re participating in a synchronized Thai-food-appreciation society meeting with a hundred other...
Read moreGood yumm I recently visited a cozy Thai restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the food and the service. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft lighting, wooden accents, and traditional Thai décor that immediately set the mood. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and guided us through the menu, happily offering recommendations for first-time visitors.
We started with the classic Tom Yum soup, which had a perfect balance of spicy, sour, and fragrant flavors. The Pad Thai was exceptional — not overly sweet, with the right amount of tang and a generous portion of prawns. I also tried the green curry, which was rich and aromatic, with tender chicken and fresh vegetables. The level of spiciness was adjustable, making it enjoyable for all preferences.
One highlight was the attention to presentation — each dish was beautifully plated, showing care in every detail. Service was prompt but never rushed, and the staff checked in just enough to ensure we were comfortable. Prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes.
Overall, this restaurant offers an authentic Thai dining experience that feels both refined and homey. I would definitely recommend it to anyone craving flavorful, well-prepared...
