The Erawan Shrine, formally known as the Thao Maha Phrom Shrine, is one of Bangkok's most famous and revered religious sites. Here are the key details: * Deity: It houses a golden statue of Phra Phrom (the Thai representation of the Hindu god Brahma, the god of creation). It is often mistakenly called the "Four-Faced Buddha" by visitors. * The Four Faces: Phra Phrom's statue has four faces, which are traditionally believed to grant different blessings when worshipped clockwise: * First Face (Front): Career, work, study, and life progression. * Second Face: Relationships, family, and home life. * Third Face: Wealth, luck, and fortune. * Fourth Face: Wisdom, health, and peace. * Significance: It is a powerful example of syncretism between Hinduism and Buddhism in Thai culture. Devotees (both Thai and foreign) visit daily to pray for good fortune and protection. * Location: It is strategically located at the bustling Ratchaprasong Intersection in the Pathum Wan District of downtown Bangkok, right in front of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. * Getting There: The easiest way to get there is by the BTS Skytrain to Chit Lom Station (Exit 8), which has an elevated walkway overlooking the shrine. * Opening Hours: Generally, it is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM (some sources say 11:00 PM). * Admission: Free (though donations for the shrine's upkeep and charitable works are welcome). * Offerings: Worshippers often bring offerings of marigold and jasmine garlands, incense sticks, candles, and fruits. * Traditional Dance: If a wish is granted, devotees often return to hire the resident Thai classical dance troupes to perform as a gesture of thanks to Phra Phrom. * History: The shrine was built in 1956 to appease the spirits after a series of misfortunes and accidents during the construction of the original Erawan Hotel (which the shrine is named after).

Guys please be aware of shops that sell those flowers for offering especially when they have birds in cages. My mom wanted to support the stores across the road, yk " local business" . After they teach us how to pray. They said the last step was to free these birds, without stating any price so we thought it was included since my mom has already paid. After we freed those birds, they then told us " one bird was 800 so there were four birds so it's 3200, but we discount it to 3000. And another 200 for my tip as I teach u how to pray and give u a blessing. "

Nice shopping mall where can be access easily from BTS Chitlom. It's a part of Erawan Hyatt hotel. Many of luxurious lifestyle shops are located here ex. Rolex, Club21, else. Restaurants and convenient store on the ground floor. For the one who love the healthy trend, go for 4th fl.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Erawan Bangkok เอราวัณ แบงค็อก, and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel truly welcome.

The accommodations at Erawan Bangkok are second to none. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with elegant decor and modern amenities that ensure a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious and spa-like, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city.

However, what truly sets Erawan Bangkok apart is the exceptional staff. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone I encountered went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. They were always attentive, friendly, and eager to help with any request I had. Their genuine kindness and dedication to providing excellent service truly made my stay memorable.

The hotel amenities at Erawan Bangkok are fantastic as well. The rooftop pool offers stunning views of the city and is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The fitness center is well-equipped, making it easy to stay active during my stay. Additionally, the on-site dining options are top-notch, with delicious food and impeccable service.

The location of Erawan Bangkok is also ideal. Situated in the heart of Bangkok, it is within walking distance to major attractions, shopping, and dining options, making it the perfect base for exploring the vibrant city.

Overall, my experience at Erawan Bangkok เอราวัณ แบงค็อก was nothing short of amazing. The luxurious accommodations, exceptional staff, and fantastic amenities exceeded my expectations in every way. I can not recommend this hotel enough and can not wait to return. Thank you to the incredible staff at Erawan Bangkok for making my stay so...

Herrible experience The attitude of the security guard at the exit parking booth was terrible.

I had just made a purchase at Karmakamet, but when I had my parking ticket stamped, they accidentally stamped the store receipt instead of the actual parking ticket.

When I was leaving, I tried to explain that I was in a hurry for my next meeting, and asked if I could leave first and whethe she could help me sort it out later when her shift ended. The female security guard was not polite and said that in that case, she would just charge me the parking fee.

In the end, despite being in a rush, I had to run back up to get the ticket stamped properly.

The main issue was the guard’s facial expressions and tone — very unpleasant.

I came to shop and spend money at the mall, only to be treated like this. Please improve your service.

This incident occurred on April 19...
