We found this restaurant just ok, without any particular standout dishes. It has a huge menu and from it we ordered 4 dishes. The Crab with glass noodles, the Premium Crab Fried Rice, the Stir Fried Sea Asparagus with Kale and Mushrooms, and the Scallop Omelette.
The Crab with Glass Noodles were a disappointment to be honest, with the Crab being very dry and near tasteless. The noodles were also really lacking in sauce was quite bland. We are used to great seafood in Bangkok and we had ordered this dish with high expectations but were let down by what we had hoped to be a highlight.
The Crab Fried Rice was good in that it was light and tasty.
The Stir Fried Sea Asparagus with Kale and Mushrooms was fresh, but just lacked a bit of umami flavour, so it came out a bit bland. Nice juicy Sea Aspargus but the sauce was bland so it did not really do the produce justice.
Lastly, the Scallop Omelette was again lacking in flavour. It was battered and fried, but you did not have that fresh scallop flavour popping out like you do from the best places.
We've seen the good reviews for this place, but overall, we were quite disappointed and would not be back, especially given the price. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day? However, we have had far better seafood dishes from street vendors in Yaowarat (Chinatown) for a fraction of the price. Even within CentralWorld there are much better options such as the seafood in the Food...
Read moreThe food here is generally very flavourful and delicious, a definite must-visit for authentic Thai seafood!
We ordered the crab fried rice, stir fried chayote leaves, papaya salad, tom yum goong, stir fried morning glory, deep fried squid, and the curry crab legs. I enjoyed all dishes save for the fried squid, there was nothing special about this and the batter kept falling off. The fried rice here is the best I've had in Bangkok so far, the flavour is great and there is a wok hey taste. While I enjoyed their tom yum goong, a word of caution is that their spice level is quite extreme (it was really very spicy, we will probably request for it to be less spicy next time).
Since this place serves only seafood, it was a bit of a pity that they didn't serve any meat like pork or chicken. Nevertheless, the variety of dishes here is more than sufficient. One area for improvement would be the portion size, which was on the smaller side. Service was not bad, but they messed up our order as we had initially ordered the soft shell crab instead of the crab legs but we decided to just accept the dish.
Overall, this place is marked down on my list as a place to revisit, and I would definitely recommend coming ahead of peak hours to secure a table as it can get...
Read moreI recently visited your restaurant on 19 March 2025 at around 12 PM, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Before entering, I specifically asked your staff whether the Curry Stir-Fried Crab was available as part of the set meal. I was informed that it was, which led to my decision to dine at your establishment.
However, after being seated and reviewing the menu, your staff later informed us that the Curry Stir-Fried Crab was actually unavailable in the set meal and that we could only order it à la carte. Instead, we were offered a replacement dish—Bamboo Shoot Stir-Fried Crab. This felt misleading and deceptive, especially since the set menu prominently advertised the Curry Stir-Fried Crab.
If a dish is not genuinely available as part of a set meal, it should not be advertised as an option. Customers should not be enticed by a menu item only to be told later that they must order it separately at a higher cost. This experience was disappointing and frustrating, as it gave the impression of a bait-and-switch tactic.
I urge you to clarify your menu and ensure your staff provides accurate information to avoid misleading customers. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and implement necessary changes to improve customer...
