Nice Two Meat U — Restaurant in Pathum Wan Subdistrict

On my first visit to Siam Square, I found myself wandering around Soi 3, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling area. Suddenly, I was stopped in my tracks by the enormous, eye-catching signage of a place called Nice 2 Meat U. It was impossible to miss, and it practically beckoned me to come inside.

The moment I stepped inside, I knew I had made the right choice. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, buzzing with the excitement of diners enjoying their meals. The decor was modern yet cozy, creating the perfect setting for a BBQ feast.

Being a fan of Korean BBQ, I decided to go for the Pork BBQ. The service was impressively quick, and before I knew it, I was grilling juicy, marinated pork slices right at my table. The meat was tender and packed with flavor, each bite better than the last. The whole experience was incredibly refreshing, and to top it all off, I washed it down with some ice-cold sodas. It was the perfect complement to the sizzling, savory BBQ.

If you're ever in Siam Square, especially around Soi 3, you absolutely must check out Nice 2 Meat U. It's not just the massive signage that draws you in, but the fantastic food and quick, friendly service that will keep you coming back. Shockingly overpriced and very poor quality food!!! DO NOT recommend!

We went to have lunch there earlier this afternoon and ordered Tofu soup, Japananese wagyu (5 squares), rib eye, finger ribs, pork set (includes rice, vegetables, kimchi soup, bacon, sliced pork, noodles), bim bim bab, and some soft drinks.

Firstly, the soups were both extremely salty and thick (and not in a good way)! The bim bim bab was DRENCHED in sauce, making it inedible and extremely salty. The wagyu was smelly and very oily - one of the worst wagyu we've ever had (and it was THB 999!)!

The bacon was very chewy and and tough. The beef were of poor quality, with lots of fatty parts and all drenched in marinades. In fact, everything was so salty and fatty that we couldn't eat most of it.

We paid a whopping THB 4,677 in total, and needless to say, we're left shocked and speechless at the hefty price tag! Had the meat quality been good and had the food tasted nice, we wouldn't have minded it so much. But at this price, you're much better off splashing at other restaurants with better food!

Very poor and bad restaurant and my experience in this restaurant totally change my view of Thailand as a tourist. I have been in Thailand 4 times and had so far only positive experiences until I entered into this restaurant. First of all, in this restaurant, you cannot pay credit card if you don't spend more than 1000 bahts (no other restaurants I have been ask for cash for 1000 bahts!!). Secondly, they charge you additional 12% service charge for their shocking overpriced menu. The information about service charge on the menu are almost invisible and ridiculously small that nobody with normal vision can read. Atmosphere in this little restaurant is awful, there are more waiters than guests and everyone was standing there and watching you for every single reaction and it makes one feels constant surveillance. One of the staff's behaviors was threatening when I told him that I didn't have enough cash to pay and I asked to pay credit card.
