I visited After You Dessert Café at Central World after hearing a lot of good things about their Shibuya toasts. I was not disappointed by the quality and taste of their desserts. The café is located on the 7th floor of the mall, opposite the cinema. It is quite popular, so you might have to wait for a table, but it is worth it.
The Shibuya toast is their signature dish, and it comes in different flavors and sizes. I ordered the baby size honey toast, which was perfect for one person. The toast was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and it came with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. I poured the honey over the toast and ice cream, and enjoyed every bite. The toast was sweet, but not too sweet, and the ice cream was creamy and smooth. The whipped cream added a nice touch of lightness to the dessert.
I also tried their iced chocolate, which was rich and decadent. It was a bit too sweet for me, but chocolate lovers would appreciate it. The drink was thick and frothy, and it had a nice chocolate flavor. It was a good complement to the toast, but I would recommend sharing it with someone else, as it was quite filling.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The café had a modern and stylish décor, and it was a nice place to chill and enjoy some desserts. The price was reasonable for the quality and portion of the desserts. I paid around 400 baht for my toast and drink, which I think was worth it.
I would definitely recommend After You Dessert Café to anyone who loves desserts, especially Shibuya toasts. It is one of the best dessert places in Bangkok, and I can't wait to go back and try their other flavors. If you are looking for a sweet treat, you should check out After You Dessert Café at Central World. You...
Read moreWe visited this café on 15 June 2025 at about 2.28pm and had an unpleasant experience with the cashier.
After placing our order, I took less than 20 seconds to get the correct coins for payment, but the cashier impatiently said “faster faster” in a rude tone. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and made the interaction quite uncomfortable. A bit of patience and courtesy goes a long way in customer service.
After the cashier impatiently told me to “faster faster” while I was getting my coins, I confronted the staff about her tone. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, she responded rudely, pointing out that there were people waiting in line—as if that justified the behavior. Another staff member, a guy that was beside her repeatedly asked why I was upset, and the cashier simply kept saying she didn’t know. The entire exchange felt dismissive and unprofessional. It’s disappointing to receive this kind of attitude over something as basic as taking a few extra seconds to pay.
A lady, whom I assume was the manager, came over shortly after and quickly apologised to us. I appreciated her gesture and thanked her in return. We need more staff like her—professional and courteous—rather than impatient and rude service like what we experienced from the cashier. No matter how good the desserts are, I won’t be returning to this outlet because of the poor attitude we...
Read morei am glad finding this dessert cafe chain shop at True Digital Park. The branch at CentralWorld shopping centre 7th floor is always full. (Well, there is another branch at 2nd floor in Central department store also at CentralWorld but tourists may not know). The shop was small but okay for me. I arrived after 8 pm, so there were not too many customers.
As this dessert cafe is very well loved for its nice sweet desserts, the shop chain has expanded to 40 branches in different locations in mostly bangkok, including Siam Paragon, Terminal 21 Asok, Silom Complex, MBK Centre, Iconsiam, and also one each in Pattaya, Udonthani, and Chiangmai. I recently learnt from my friend it also opened a branch in Causeway Bay, Hongkong and people often need to queue up to taste the delicious dessert and aromatic coffee inside.
I like its signature dessert Shibuya honey toast (with ice cream) The toast and vanilla ice cream was tasty, soft, sweet but not excessive. It is good for the health conscious like me. Well, it is often said that traditionally Thai people favour heavy or strong taste, and most like very spicy or very sweet food/dessert! This dessert cafe successfully break away from the old accustomed not too healthy eating practice, due to younger customer generation.
