🥩 Tajimaya Thailand @ CentralWorld – Wagyu Quality That Stands Out, but Space and Timing Could Be Better
Curious to see how Tajimaya Thailand compares with its Singapore counterpart, we decided to give it a try during our trip to CentralWorld. Surprisingly, the price difference wasn’t significant — the premium buffet at 1,646 THB (around SGD66) is similar to Singapore pricing. But what truly sets this outlet apart is the meat quality, especially the Wagyu beef, which was genuinely impressive.
At first, we didn’t quite understand why so many diners opted for the top-tier buffet, but once we saw (and tasted) the Wagyu cuts being served, it made perfect sense. The marbling and tenderness were on point — definitely a highlight if you’re a beef lover.
We personally went for the 654 THB buffet set, since I could only eat pork and chicken. Even so, the beef included in this tier was good quality, though naturally not in the same league as the Wagyu from the premium set. Still, it offered great value for a more moderate price point.
We appreciated the semi-private booth layout — each table had its own little cubicle, giving us a bit of privacy. That said, the booths are quite tight and close together, and once we started moving in and out for the buffet, we realized just how cramped the space was. It’s not the most comfortable spot to sit for an extended meal.
The only downside was the strict 90-minute dining limit. The pace of the meal felt a little rushed, especially as we were still settling in and waiting for some dishes to arrive. Before we knew it, time was almost up — and yes, the staff did come around to politely but firmly remind us to leave. It left us wondering if they count the preparation and waiting time as part of that 90 minutes.

🍽️ Final Thoughts: Tajimaya Thailand offers impressive meat quality, especially if you go for the Wagyu buffet. While the experience is satisfying overall, the tight seating and strict time enforcement may affect how relaxed your meal feels. Still, for meat lovers in Bangkok, it’s worth a visit — just come prepared to eat...
Read moreThis restaurant is a solid choice if you’re looking to enjoy Wagyu beef at a fair price. The quality is still good overall, and the experience is enjoyable – especially considering what’s included. However, I’ve had better Wagyu elsewhere in Bangkok, so I would say it’s not the absolute best in town. Also, in my opinion, the quality has slightly declined compared to earlier visits.
That said, the value for money is still excellent. The beef curry was a standout for me – rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I’d come back just for that dish alone.
One of the great perks is that all side dishes are all-you-can-eat, so you can refill as much as you like. From kimchi to fresh greens, everything pairs nicely with the main courses.
Another plus is the free drinks – Coca-Cola, iced tea, and other non-alcoholic options are available at no extra charge. For dessert, there’s ice cream, which is a nice bonus and rounds off the meal well.
Overall, this place is definitely worth visiting for a casual Wagyu experience without breaking the bank. While there may be better Wagyu options in Bangkok, it still offers good food, generous portions, and a...

High quality wagyu beef with affordable price. I went there few days ago and the restaurant was giving 20% discount from wagyu buffet set. So we got around 200~300 baht discount from 1,300baht+ from wagyu buffet menu. However, this price does not include 10% service charge and 7% vat.
We totally enjoyed wagyu menu. Though the beef has a lot of fat, but its marble and soft texture in the mouth are really overwhelming. There are around 10+ vegetables and side-menus to choose from, including beef curry (which is also delicious), fishballs, tofu, etc. And 3 option of ice-cream too choose from. Also, sukiyaki soup is very flavorful and goes together with the beef very well. I also like sesame sauce which has unique flavor unlike other places.
All in all, a good place for affordable but premium quality...
