Flavors Indian and Thai Restaurant Patong — Restaurant in Patong

Flavors is a modest Indian establishment which gives you most bang for your buck in the Patong Beach area. Situated a few meters away from Bangla road, its prime locality leads to a lot of foot traffic in the small restaurant.

They have an Indian menu and a separate world cuisine menu (you have to ask for this menu). Both menus have vegetarian and non-vegetarian offerings. Its prices are probably the best for any Indian restaurant in the area. The taste is good and the service, timely. I have eaten at this place twice during my stay in Phuket and would recommend anything from their menu.

Jimmy, the restaurant owner, is a wonderful man and has been in Phuket for a long time. He will personally interact with the customers.

Having said that, there are a couple of drawbacks about this place - While you can order food from here through the Grab app, the restaurant declines any orders that are under 1,000 THB. At the restaurant, they accept only cash and no card payment is accepted. However, he has a workaround if you don't have cash.

We were there with my wife yesterday for lunch. Ordered Tom Yum and Rice soup with seafood. Tom Yum was pretty bad and she left it thinking about "not fresh seafood". My rice soup was mostly like rice porridge. Too much rice and less stock. We used to live in Thailand for two years and have some understanding of what those dishes should be like. Also seafood, especially calamari rings was disgusting. I'm a big fan of squids and those ones look to me refrozen a couple times. The worst thing was food poisoning in the evening for me. Its the Last Scam, we ordered pizza prosciutto, it’s pizza with ham, we were told it’s fresh made and in the end it came some garbage from the refrigerator without ham and when I asked where is the ham and showed them the pic of the pizza in the menu, obviously with ham, they told me that the pizza prosciutto is without ham and what I see and think it’s ham would be bread….. never again, stay away from that place, last sh… and service is instead of adding what they forgot telling you ham is bread and therefore also the name of the pizza...
