Typical tourist trap.
Don't understand the good reviews. Wondering if most people don't know what a Neapolitan pizza is meant to be and taste like?
We had Margerita pizza and Salami pizza. Was very bland, lacked flavour, had to add chilli oil to give it more flavour. Poor choice in tomato base and cheese. Wasn't the best pizza we’ve had. The pizza base itself was ok, but not a Neopolitan base. Also only one tiny basil leaf on a standard pizza? Seemed stingy.
Service was terrible. Was very abrupt with us sitting down, hovering over us to make a decision. Later paying the bill, when we asked simple questions about their menu, we got snotty replies back “this is a restaurant, not 7-Eleven”. We also explained we wont be leaving a tip due to their poor attitude and lack in good service, one waitron said “be kind, you get kindness back” . Wow, that was quite rich coming from the person who was snotty with us over the menu conversation. We gave a tip for the pizza maker instead as he was the only friendly face in the entire restaurant. All the other waitresses there looked grumpy and disinterested in being there. For the amount that we spent for our meal, one would think you’d get better service? Not the case. These waitresses just care to take your money once and never see you again. Typical tourist trap.
Atmosphere was unwelcoming, zero ambience, tacky photos stuck to the wall as decor, zero music, just talking noise from patrons. It felt awkward being there.
Very disappointed. Tons of Italian restaurants around. We stopped here because it was closest to our hotel. For those seeking good food with a good vibe, this is not the place....
Read moreI went with my family to dinner at the restaurant and had a terrible experience. First we were surrounded by 6 employees, I have never felt so much pressure to order some food. Then we ordered a dish where there was a photo that came from beef steak and we brought something else and they charged the same price that it was very expensive, only with chickens. They knew that our I Mg feet was bad and they used it to deceive us. Then they put the bill on the table while we were already eating, and in the end he still yelled at a child who was trying to open the door to get out wrong. A lot of lack of empathy and professionalism. The Owner or Manager himself, treats people even like tourists who will...
Read moreAbsolutely sensational pizza and lovely clean venue with friendly staff who love what they do.
We changed it up and bit from our regular Thai indulgence and decided to try this place as we were taken by the wood fire pizza oven as we consider ourselves to be pizza connoisseurs as we too have a wood fire oven in our backyard and the chef was making his own dough. The pizza was absolutely fantastic .. just as good as Napoli (yes we have been there ) They also serve beers , wines and cocktails Seriously beautiful pizza. If you love authentic wildfire Italian pizza, give this place a go, you won’t be disappointed, it’s superb 🍕🥂 Bellissimo! We...
