The expectation was high because of the reviews. I thought it’s one of those oldy but goody restaurants but nahh. For one, the price is a bit too expensive for its ambience, the menu is limited, and at some point I saw a rat running around the place. Ordered tom yum, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and mango sticky rice. Tom yum is good, just another okay one, pad thai taste soo bad, pineapple fried rice isn’t good as well, it taste more like curry which is personally I do not like. All these in seafood, and I know off the bat the seafood aren’t fresh, even the texture isn’t good. As for the famous mango sticky rice, I was expecting something extraordinary too, but meh, okay the rice and the coconut milk is good like nice nice - but the mango they used is bland and doesn’t taste of any. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant in Patong, Phuket. The Chinese owners were extremely rude when I questioned the price of the food. Instead of explaining the charge, they became aggressive, took 400 baht from my hand, and threw 10 baht on the table while yelling at me to leave.

When I asked for an apology for their behavior, they called the police. Unfortunately, the two officers who arrived seemed biased and refused to listen to my side of the story. They threatened to arrest me and attempted to intimidate me.
