Food was great but service was disappointing

Having read the great review about the restaurant, my friend and I decided to try out the seafood buffet which is only available every Saturday night.

The food and selection was awesome but the service was disappointing. Not sure if this is due to the fact that we were seated at a corner table or because we were Asian? Servers and managers alike walked past our table throughout the night but no one did service to serve us our bottle of wine which was just beside us in an ice bucket. We had to serve our wine ourselves. Water was only refilled upon request.

Yet when it comes to the time for bill, we were attended to promptly and our bill folder with our uncollected change was collected back by the restaurant staff in less than a minute:)

We will rate the food 5 out of 5, but service level wise, I would strongly suggest to treat all customers equally regardless of race or...

Came in for breakfast and selected a table with the best view of the water , although, all are amazing. Nidnapa immediately made sure everything was perfect. Husband asked for a vanilla latte and after a bit of translation, he was provided with a little pitcher of vanilla that she had obtained by running to the next door hotels! Inconsistent - Hot and cold experience

Went to Larn Thong again after a great late morning experience on a previous visit. The dishes were so great the first time, I ordered the same ones today. It was a real disappointment. I enquired as to the chef as I couldn't imagine the same person could create such different, excellent then just OK, results.

The afternoon chef making OK food comes on shift at 2pm FYI. So will I go back? Likely not, but if I do ill be sure to confirm the day...
