Swensen's Central Pattaya Beach — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Out of all the Swensens branches I have been to in Thai (and it’s alot) this is by far the worst in terms of service and customer experience.

When we walked in the place was pretty empty, a handful of tables but no service staff approached us so we just went to find a table. We wait for about 5 mins before a waitress approached us with a menu.

While ordering the wife wanted to order a fresh strawberry sundae cup but asked if we could change the custard on the dessert as she didint like custard. The waitress said we could change it for cream and we agreed that was fine. Two mins later she returns and says we can’t change it for cream? We can remove the custard but the price would remain the same? Ok whatever, we went with custard.

I ordered two scoops of chocolate and mint for my banana split and after approx 20 mins the desserts arrived. One chocolate one macadamia and one mint ice cream? I would understand if they were busy but the waitresses were standing around and another was sitting down joking with the next table of friends.

Sent it back and eventually got the right ordered 30 mins after ordering.

Pretty aggressive sales pitch 4 times by four different staff members to try and take out swensens membership card… no thank you

Staff don’t look interested or care in this branch much better to go to Haagen Dazs...

I come here every Tuesday and get buy 1 get 1 free scoops. You have to have the member card which is 299. But then you also get 10% off every time. They always give the young ones crayons and its a good time.

They have cakes also, they sell them by the pound which is random and odd. Speaking of odd they always have a weird flavor of the month, it seems to switch between mango and durian. They serve it with sticky rice which is actually pretty good with ice cream and you're eating pure sugar anyways so what the heck lets go for it fam.

Atmosphere is loud and full of kids. Staff is friendly and always starts you off with free water. Ice cream makes you thirsty for some reason.

So why 5 stars? The ice cream is tasty and cold and what more can you ask...

This ice cream is, without a doubt, the most delectable and satisfying ice cream I have ever had the pleasure of indulging in throughout my entire life. This was my second visit to Thailand, and I made certain not to waste a single day during my stay. Each day, I would make it a point to visit this establishment twice in order to savor the exquisite ice cream that they offer. I sincerely hope that one day, a branch of this establishment will open in my home country so that others may also have the opportunity to experience this...
