Wayyyyyyy overpriced. Went to this place on 14th of April 2025. Apart from the food (which is subjective), I’m honestly very upset with the service here.
For Thai standards, spending 700 THB per person (we were a group of 5) puts this restaurant in the upper-tier category—where better service is absolutely expected.
With this price, I could easily go to any nearby restaurants and get much better service (at the very least, the staff wouldn’t have noticeable body odor, unlike here).
But what truly frustrated me most was the complete lack of attentiveness and common sense from the staff. I arrived a bit later than my four friends. It took forever to get anyone’s attention just to ask for an extra bowl of rice. And when the rice was finally brought out… "it was literally just the rice" no plate, no cutlery, nothing.
Any decent restaurant in Thailand would at least bring a plate and utensils when a new guest joins, even before ordering. Here, not only did we already requested food, but we had to ask multiple times just to get basic tableware. It also took two more follow-ups to get an empty glass with ice.
Even calling for the bill required us to flag down staff three to four times. And yes! they still had the audacity to include a service charge.
I haven’t even started ranting about the greasy crab omelet yet. Fix your service first—then we’ll talk.
For those who read this review and want a better options (Taste wise). This kind of restaurant is known among Thais as "Raan Khao-Tom" and there are 3 better alternatives in the area with better services, taste, and prices namely; Boon Pochana, Kiew Liew Ning, and Niyom (which is my least favorite).
Or if you want a chill place for talk and drinks, there are many places in this same alley.

Read moreThis is my second visit to this branch because I had such an impressive experience the first time. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit disappointing.
Some dishes I ordered were either forgotten or delayed, and the service felt slower than usual. More importantly, the taste of several dishes wasn’t up to the previous standard. For example, the stir-fried cabbage with fish sauce, which is usually my favorite, had a fishy smell and lacked its usual fragrant aroma. The fried chive cakes were slightly burnt, and the stir-fried minced pork with Chinese olives was overly salty and not as balanced as before.
Overall, I was really let down by the flavors this time. It’s unfortunate because the restaurant is beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere, and I had planned to bring foreign friends here often. I hope this was just an off day and that the taste improves...
Read moreWow this is my first time here so it’s such a great spot for classic Thai-style rice porridge (khao tom kui). The side dishes are super tasty—things like crispy pork, salted egg, stir-fried veggies, and salted fish are all well-seasoned and feel very homey, but still clean and high quality.
The vibe is casual and comfortable, perfect for a late-night meal or dinner with friends and family. The staff are friendly and the food comes out quickly, which is always a plus. They also have the live music from DJ.
Given the location in central Sathorn, the prices are quite reasonable for what you get. Definitely a go-to place if you’re craving comforting Thai-style porridge and sides krub, and I went there by BTS na krub so it’s quite different for sometimes to find the place for...
