Lo Strabacco — Restaurant in Si Lom Subdistrict

Absolutely loved this restaurant! It’s kind of tucked away but I’m glad we found it. I was craving Italian food and this place really hit the spot! As an Italian American, I know good Italian food and this is it! You must try the truffle lasagna if you dine here, it is simply delicious. Everything we ate was amazing, but that was my favorite. I also appreciated the complimentary bread and bruschetta. The tomatoes on the bruschetta were perfectly seasoned. The sauce that the mussels were cooked in was also delicious. I ordered the salmon tagliatelle which I really enjoyed as well. We also split a pizza with fresh buffalo mozzarella that had a nice thin crust. This place offers a good variety of dishes. We also had the Pinot Grigio which I loved. The service is impeccable and the staff is so friendly and helpful....

During our recent visit to Bangkok, we craved for good Italian pizzas. We headed to Lo Strabacco along Silom Soi 19 on a Sunday after the lunch meal period to avoid the crowds.

My wife and I shared a set lunch comprising Bruschetta Pomodoro and Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino, and a pizza topped with Italian sausages and mushrooms. The food was well prepared and enjoyable.

Elsewhere in other restaurants serving Italian food, we found that Italian meals can sometimes be tweaked to suit Asian's taste buds for stronger flavours. This was not the case at Lo Strabacco and we enjoyed the authentic...

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been too. I’ve eaten at $100 a plate restaurants back in the U.S and none can compare ! The only thing comparable to the the life changing food is the service... I couldn’t imagine anyone being unhappy with their experience unless you don’t like Italian or generally are just a difficult person. Seriously though, great atmosphere with excellent prices....
