I came here again and this time it was way better then last. Revolucion Cocktail in Bangkok truly encapsulates the spirit of Latin American culture. I've been going to Revo since 2021, and by God, they never change their ways. Revo claims itself as a Cuban Cocktail Club... but except for 1 day of the week when they do El Fuego latin night, they ARE NOT A LATINO CLUB BY ANY MEANS. The resident DJ always plays mainstream dance music, the same ones that would be playing at Khao San Road. Or they would always unnecessarily remixing ANY SONG. It's a shame because their crew are so nice and friendly, but their club is not... fun. Here's how much I know revo, They've been doing the same "bartending fire show" to Macklemore's "Can't hold us", since 2021/2022. Then they start doing those percussion & saxophone performance alongside the dj, which does NOT complement the music at all. After 1 AM, the music is that typical monotone random beats of house or techno. Again... NOT what you'd expect at a Cuban Cocktail Club. My wish is they would play more latin song, reggaeton, salsa, or proper afro-carribean tunes. Or just rebrand the entire club, dont call it Cuban Club.
