Wonder Lounge Phuket — Restaurant in Talat Nuea

If you want amazing cocktails, and tasty nibbles this is the place to be! My partner and I stumbled across Kismet whilst we were exploring Phuket Old Town!

We were on our way to the night market and fancied a little cocktail to cool us down!

To our surprise this cute cocktail bar nestled away on one of the side roads towards the market, just happened to catch my partners eye!

The door was just everything!! Once opened you are transported into a mood lit bar with super friendly staff!

We arrived just as they were about to open and they accommodated us!

The cocktails were 10/10!! The mixologist was superb!!!! I love visiting cocktail bars globally and seriously this bar is within my top 5!

The manager Rich was so lovely and helpful! He gave us recommendations on places to visit, we spoke about the bar and even discussed apps to use whilst travelling around in Thailand!

We loved it so much we visited a few days later and enjoyed the lamb skewers, a game of UNO and some more cocktails of course!

Wonder Lounge is truly a special place — a unique speakeasy with a warm, welcoming vibe that you can only get from a passionate family-run business. My wife and I stumbled upon this hidden gem during our visit to Old Town, and it instantly became one of the highlights of our trip.

The atmosphere is intimate and stylish, with a touch of mystery that makes the whole experience fun from the moment you walk in. The cocktails were exceptional — creative, beautifully presented, and crafted with real attention to detail. You can tell the owners care deeply about what they do.

We had an excellent experience here! The chicken wings were some of the best we’ve had — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The prices are really reasonable too, especially considering the quality of the food.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly kind and attentive, especially when one person in our group mentioned having food allergies. They took the time to check every ingredient and made sure everything was safe, which made us feel very comfortable and cared for.
