While on our adventures to try all the different cuisines on offer, next on my to eat list was a Pide and Tetsi Kebap. Most places offered it for 2, luckily some said you can get it for 1 person. So we sat down and checked out the menu. We ordered the Lamb Tetsi for 1, and the Pide with Turkish "bacon". Of course we got the bread and dips again, which was standard. I ordered a Cosmopolitan, but it was made with Orange Liquor and my sis had the Aperol Spritz. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it just had a nice vibe sitting outside. There was also inside seating, but its nicer to walk the world go by and all the people visiting. My food was nice, it needed more meat and it must be eaten hot, otherwise the cheese goes hard. The tetsi kebap was nice, it was more like a stew and was not very spicy but tasty in it's own way. #TheFoodMusketeer #TheFoodMusketeerEats #TheFoodMusketeerDrinks #TFMFuegoCafeRestaurant

The food and service were both decent (but not the drinks - see below). We particularly liked the Aubergine Sesame appetiser, and the Borek with pastrami was nice too. We tried the Pide Chicken which was OK. However, the bread served alongside the meal was not very good.. and special callout to the terrible non alcoholic drinks. We tried the Mojito and the 'Hawaii' (which was supposed to be like a Pina Colada but not at all...?). The Mojito was truly terrible - there was too much lime and sugar syrup which made it way too strong than it ought to be. So buyers beware. Were it not for the drinks we would have given it 4 stars. Service was good though and reasonably quick.

The food is truly spectacular: it will satisfy any palate and it’s a mixture of traditional Turkish cuisine with western flavors. The location is somewhat secluded but the little street is beautiful and the ambiance is fantastic. The neon signage puts you in a high end cafe while the comfortable furniture places you in a typical Turkish family home. The service is spectacular. The staff is warm, caring and attentive. They will laugh with you, teach you typical Turkish words and explain aspects of loca culture. But the best thing about this restaurant is the young cat named Carlos aka Fuego, who greeted all guests, nestled in your lap and purred loudly while he slept.
