Palatium Cafe and Restaurant — Restaurant in Fatih

The manager seems looking at us like we dont have money to spend here. The staff service is good but only the manager looks like we are poor just because we are asian. It start from the moment we enter the restaurant. He smile and talk nicely to other patrons but not us. I try to think positive and just ignore him.

Even when i ask for the bill, it takes him 15 minutes to give me the bill and yet he serve other people first. When he decide to give me the bill, he just put it on our table and walk away. I already have my card ready at that time, why he just walk away? Why dont ask whether i want to pay by cash or cash right away? What kind of service does that? They are not even packed at that time. Only 5 table occupied. I have to wait for another 5 minutes to call other staff to tell them im ready to pay.

The food is good, the atmosphere is good, even the other staffs is good but in the end, it spoilt by a racist manager who think he owned that place. Palatium serves typical Turkish cuisine, and, wow, they do it right!

I absolutely loved every dish we got here, entrees, drinks, and desserts. The vibes of the restaurant are amazing too, night or day. We visited her 2 diff times, and both times it was perfect.

For entrees, we dined the Mix Grill Plate for 2, Iskender Kebab, and Chicken wings w/ hot sauce. Each was hot, seasoned so well, and charred to perfection. If you order the clay pot dishes they come literally fresh out the oven, you can even hear the sizzling of the pot as they put it on your table. I love the food being in the pot because your food stays hot as you eat.

For desserts we tried the Rice Pudding, and a Kunefe with Ice Cream. Of course we also had tea. Both desserts were perfect sweetness level, and all of the dishes were a fair price for such an immaculate restaurant.

They have inside, outside, and terrace seating. They play nice music, and the ambiance is wonderful.The staff are very nice and quick to take your order.

This place was quieter than others, maybe because they have restoration works going on, on their front façade. Aside from that, the ambience was good~hippy type. The food was priced well for their portion sizes, pizza is relatively small but well priced for their size. The pide was excellent! The server was accommodating to the fact we wanted half chicken and half veggie pide. Really tasty. The Sangria was really generously portioned for the pricing. They also gave us complimentary Watermelon Plate as dessert. They charge 10% service charge, so make sure you look at the bill and not add an extra tip on top of that, as some places here in Türkiye add or not add Service Charge as per their preference.
